Oh Maman. Dentist is my idea of hell. Highlight of my day has been the window cleaner coming😊Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5

Just a check up TF and all went well. I was even congratulated on my 'Home Care' of my teeth. I have been trying hard with the inter dental brushes etc so nice to be recognised.
Then I went to Tesco as it's nearby and treated myself to some cream roses, because I'm worth it! 😊6 -
I haven't been feeling very fab. My husband got his cancer checkup and the doctor said they can see red patches in his bladder again so he has to have another checkup at the end of the month. The doctor didn't suggest a biopsy straight away which I suppose is good news.
I finally had my PIP phone assessment as well. That is about all the news I have at the moment!
I wore my new green Monsoon cardigan today with my black maxi dress, "new" charity shop green handbag and the new green necklace I bought myself for my birthday. I do like green at the moment.6 -
That sounds like a good colour combination Wednesday, and different for you. Well done for making the effort because you obviously don't feel like it. Hope it did you good.
I agree it's a good sign that they're not treating your husband's case as urgent. I know it's easy to say but try not to worry.
Fashion pages weren't very interesting again today. I think it's hard to motivate yourself to get properly dressed up. I think things might change when the weather gets warmer and/or venues are open indoors. The features were on staycation dressing which was roughly be prepared to wrap up more like with a one piece swimsuit and 'beach pyjamas' to keep the cool winds off on at the seaside. Then there was a feature on renting clothes for special occasions. It's not something I've ever done but I suppose it does make sense. The most interesting article was about dressing to suit yourself . That's for your body shape but both to show off the bits you like and disguise the bits you don't. The midi dress seems to have been the most versatile item in recent years. I think that suits most people and can easily be dressed up or down.5 -
Yes, Maman I'm trying not to worry about it as there is nothing I can do about it and if it is cancer again at least they caught it early. If he has any more time off work he would (almost certainly) lose his job as well so it is "good" that this has happened before we moved and got a big mortgage. It will definitely change our moving house plans, again.
My PIP assessment wasn't that bad after all the horror stories I read about it. The person actually seemed like they knew the names of my conditions and the associated meds etc... Quite surprised, but I will see what they say in the following letter. Within 6 weeks apparently. Don't rush yourselves, lol.
Beach pyjamas, that is funny. I've never heard of that.It would be nice to be on a sunny beach with a cocktail right now.
I remembered I was in the newer charity shop I visited the other day and I was looking at a long dress that I liked and I realised it was a dreaded jumpsuit when I saw the legs!I might go back there this week to look around again. The staff seem very friendly and nice too.

This is what the beach pyjamas apparently look like! Not something I'll be rushing out to buy. I like the sound of that new chazza though. Some still aren't' open round here. I must make enquiries about taking in donations.7 -
i hope it turns out not to be anything for your Husband Wednesday when he returns for another check. It must be a worry for you. Never heard of beach pyjamas before!

Floss said:@maman, beach pyjamas sound very 1930s glamour to me, almost Wallis Simpson-esc!
I'm sure the weather at the ,moment is worse than usual. I can distinctly remember elections in the past when DH and I would stroll to the polling station on lovely evenings.
We're going out for a walk later, taking in the shop and the polling station. We'll take a roundabout route to get some exercise. I know we have a range of political views on the thread but I'm sure we'll all be using our vote. 😊7
