Afternoon, Ladies.

Today's update (hope you won't get bored but it is keeping me on track.

Exercise - A gorgeous day today. Another walk in the park. This time we walked the long way there and back and crisscrossed all paths so it was a mile or so longer than yesterday.

Skin - Regime done last night and this morning and in addition I applied a brightening mask before I went into the shower, My skin is looking dull because of neglect. 

Nails - Found the polish and applied a coat. It's a very pale pearly pink but it does make them look a bit better. Tubes of hand cream in every room so I have no excuse for slapping it on.

Hair - Need a bit of advice here, Ladies. Colour is lovely. It's cut in a chin length bob. Unfortunately, my hair is very wavy and straighteners don't seem to be working. Do you think I'd be better with a hot styling brush. I need to get some volume into it. I used to be quite good at doing my hair so I think lack of practice is part of the problem.

Wardrobe. - Made the effort and wore a nice red lacy top today but my trousers are looking decidedly frumpy.

Diet - Ham salad for lunch and meatballs for dinner.

I really like that dress, Maman. Do you know I don't possess a dress or skirt? That ridiculous, isn't it?

I was actually thinking that it must be your birthday coming up the other day as I thought about your party, was that last year? seems about a million years ago now!

It is nearly the same date as two other people I know too. That is why I remembered as well.

Not bored with your progress at all TF. It's great to hear what you're doing.😊

I use a hot brush but my hair is more wavy/kinky than curly. I blow dry my hair first and then, to give it some body, I use the brush on the sides and crown.

I've used this brand for a while as it was recommended by my SIL but others might know of different ones. 

In 'normal' times I enjoy dancing and swishy skirts/dresses are better for that than trousers. I don't think you'd go far wrong with a long skirt or dress if you wanted to try something. Other people like a short dress/tunic with leggings. You could experiment with a charity shop buy.

I had my eyebrows done and I'm very pleased. They look quite dark but that's probably because they haven't been tinted for a while. When I got there I was double booked! They fitted me in but obviously their booking system isn't working properly as I had my email reminder to show them but it didn't appear on their tablet. 

I had a quick look around in John Lewis. I was tempted by this plain tee shirt

AND/OR Cotton Tank T-Shirt, White at John Lewis & Partners

 but they only had big sizes so I'll try again. I went into TKMaxx and bought my new socks! They were reduced too so only £5 for 2 packs of 3. I don't think Rishi will be pleased with my spending today. I'm hardly going to refloat the economy. 🤣

I had a nice day at work, saw lots of people and had lots of chats, it felt so normal it really gave me a boost.  The money's nice as well.

Lovely day here, drove back home round the seafront and it is really busy, bit worrying but
