I'm not surprised it was quiet Chanie, everyone is at the seaside. We went into Torbay for a Friday night fish and chips. We parked on the front eating our chips as we watched the little sailing boats and the giant cruise liners. People everywhere, queues at all the fish and chips shops. Life returns.
The fish was delicious and I fear I had too many chips, feeling very full.6 -

I have my Tu delivery today along with Amazon Fresh and I ordered some new sunglasses too. I thought I would just get up early and have a bath, get dressed and put on makeup just in case it arrives soon. It's a lovely sunny day again. It makes such a difference when it is light and bright out, for me anyway.

Sounds like lots of goodies for you Wednesday. I've gone a bit mad, I'm notorious for not buying myself stuff unless it is really unavoidable, I decided we had reached that point so went on M&S site and ordered 4 new bras (old ones all need throwing away) half a dozen pairs of pants and two packs of socks. This is mad indulgence for me.
My other treat is a trip to the tip booked for Monday. I'm clearing out the bathroom, an old set of drawers, little bin, loo brush. Everything is going to be new so the old stuff is going.
We've been out to a carboot this morning, DH loves them and although it is slow progress he managed to get round most of it so it is some exercise for him, I think he doesn't register the pain so much when he is distracted with looking at all the junk he could buy. We are such a missmatch, I love a trip to the tip and getting rid of stuff, he loves collecting more. Fortunately nothing took his face this morning but there is a bigger carboot tomorrow, it is the most popular local one and we will be doing well if I get him away from that one without anything to take home.7 -
Well, I walked just over four miles today. My legs are feeling it a bit but I'm glad we did it as I probably won't get a walk tomorrow. Gorgeous day and we both felt the better for doing it.
I've invested in a hot brush styler. Much better but needs a bit of practice.
I was thinking that this fabbing extends to a bit more than self. Surroundings are important. House could do with a little bit of brightening up so I've ordered some really pretty cushions. Might think about getting some candles. I have no sense of smell but candlelight is so calming.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -
Been to a carboot sale and I've painted a room and emulsioned the ceiling. I'm just having a little break before I clean up and I must do something about lunch. Nice to be busy.
Hope everyone is doing OK, I'm doing a foot peel thing for tonight and tomorrow I'm going to book a treatment with my voucher from Christmas 2019. Not sure what to do but I will have a chat a see what sounds good. I've also got a cut and colour tomorrow. What a busy life suddenly.6 -
toni’s friend great mileage walked this week. Being active is just as important as cardio work. We also talk about house fabbing on here.Purple you’ve had a busy day! You’ve just reminded me that I have a couple of beauty treatments I need to reschedule.
I had my laser treatment a few days ago, which as my final outstanding treatment. I’m pretty impressed with myself that I got all of my treatments done within the first week of lockdown lifting 🤣.5 -
You were organised chanie. I'm definitely looking forward to getting my hair done tomorrow, I was feeling OK about it but this week it seems to have gone to pot. I've just about recovered from it all, tidying up got left for a while but all done now.
Looking forward to Line of Duty tonight. Think I might have a shower, get my nightie on and watch in comfort with my feet up. Luxury.6 -
Hello Ladies,
I am concentrating on making my home more fab this year. I used every penny of my birthday money to buy the used solid oak sideboard and the solid oak shelving unit from eBay that were both used but in very good condition.
When they were delivered yesterday evening just after 7pm, I immediately got to work washing down every inch of both of them with Flash lemon liquid and hot water. Then I organised all of my belongings in both. It was hard work, so I got all hot and sweaty and my back was aching but it was worth all of the effort I put in. I could not believe my luck in finding just what I wanted on eBay on the evening of my birthday which just made it even more special.

Sugar pleased to see you put your birthday money to good use. Both items look well made and will bring you joy for many years to come.
