What super timing chanie. So pleased your bag arrived today, maybe you can use it over the Easter weekend. If not you can just look at it! It's gorgeous. 😊6

Chanie, you are so worth that gorgeous Gucci bag. It will give you so much pleasure over the years4

Thanks Maman. I just got sent another 20% discount code from them so I will look later.
Great bag Chanie.
It's April at last! It's nice and sunny here again today. I've just been moving furniture around and having a rejig and working out what I want to get rid of when the charity shops open. I forgot to use that sheet mask I just realised so I will use it tonight.5 -
Nice Easter present Chanie, hope you enjoy it when there is somewhere to go. Nearly there.6

Positive thought for today:

It's colder today (12 degrees) but lovely and bright which really helps my mood. 😊
I read about this elderly American lady earlier and thought what an inspiration she is. She's got it all, clothes, makeup and jewellery. Aside from lifting the spirits it shows just how establishing good habits can really work.

I watched the latest episode of 10 Years Younger last night. Again it was occasion clothes but as one of the women was off to a black tie event it was relevant. Both were given with hair extensions. I don't think its for me but it does make a huge difference. I liked the fact that the make up artist stressed that 'less is more' too. The upside of having to record the programme with social distancing is that the make up artist was describing everything but the woman had to do the make up herself which is more realistic IMO.
I finished both my Clinique eye cream and make up remover today. It's a good feeling using things up. These are both products I will buy again (already have with the Take the Day Off) but I'll use up the little 'free' samples of eye cream that came in my Benefit gift packs before I replace that. Thanks to the thread I have managed to make a good start narrowing down the products I use to favourites although it is fun to try new things now and again. Did you get the tinted moisturiser pixie?
I had another look at your glamorous great grandma photo sugarbaby and I think I noticed you were wearing trousers. Is this a new thing for you? 🤔 Have a great weekend with your family when your son arrives.
I'll be food shopping later but definitely going to try to look my best for Fab Friday. 😊6 -
Maman, I was wearing a black skirt in that photograph with my Great grandson. I do not wear trousers.
My son is actually staying for a week
It is already so lovely to have him home

Thanks for clearing that up sugarbaby. I thought I'd never hear you mention trousers. 😊
A whole week! That's brilliant. Have a great time. 😊6 -
maman that lady in your link is amazing. I love love love her outfits and attitude. The bright colours and matching hats are great and you can tell she enjoys having fun with her clothes. Her style reminds me of Her Maj in some ways.
sugar I forgot to add, what a lovely picture of you and your great grandson. It makes me really miss that new baby phase (don’t worry, I’m not wanting anymore 😂).
I hope everyone has a nice bank holiday weekend.5 -
Maman I haven't been to Boots yet, I thought about ordering it online but it is hard to judge the shades. Mad week as GS had an accident in PE and I ended up driving him round, school pick up, hospital appointment. I feel exhausted, I have no idea how I did a fulltime job and brought up 4 children. It's a nice day here, I've cut the grass which hasn't helped with the exhaustion but it looks nice. A couple of years ago some wild primroses started growing in the lawn. Last year they had spread, this year there are even more so it is fun trying to mow round them but they look so pretty.
I'm trying to pick tiles online and have sent for some samples. Not sure what to have, I don't really want to pick a colour as It is nice to be able to change towels and things so thought of a light marble effect but I've also sent for a pale grey tile with a complementary tile which is striped in white and shades of grey, I'd have that going round the room about half way up on the walls. Hopefully when I get the samples it will be easier to choose. My other thought is a light blue metro tile but again it is tying me to blue for ever more. I suppose I could go for all white but most of my house is white so I feel it is a bit of a cop out to do that. I hate making decisions.7
