Hello Ladies,
What glorious sunshine we had here in London and in Andover. I went to visit my older daughter, my son-in-law, my grandson, his partner and my Great grandson. It was such a lovely celebration of my grandson's partner's 20th birthday.
My Great grandson has changed so much in only 7 weeks

Regardless of whether you succeed or fail, what's important is that you tried in the 1st place (Katie Piper)5 -
What a lovely day Sugarbaby. He looks like quite an armful for 7 weeks.5

Thank you Purple Pixie. Yes, he is a lot heavier, longer and so curious and alert at only 7 weeks old. He was a joy to cuddle and interact with.4

He looks big for 7 weeks Sugarbaby. Cute!
Maman - what is the sizing like at Nobody's Child? I was thinking this today as I don't know the store very well at all.
I was doing an online search for green ditsy print dresses on my phone this morning and I saw one I liked. I can't remember what store it was now! I will have to do it again.
I'm going to use a Superdrug sheet mask tonight. My chocolate parcel arrived this morning and the company kindly added me a free gift of some sweets.6 -
I'd say that Nobody's Child sizing is pretty accurate Wednesday. What I like about my wraparound dress is that it doesn't skimp on fabric. There's plenty of fabric in the skirt so that it hangs well and wraps around properly. It's also an ethical company that does its best to recycle materials. 😊
I was reading on another thread about how some people still think there's a bit of a stigma buying in charity shops. For some it's because it suggests they can't afford new items for others they just don't like the idea of old stuff. I'm an avid fan of charity shops and really looking forward to them opening again. I think people are using them more and more because they are ideal for recycling and because you can get excellent value for money. I never buy the second hand stuff that was cheap to start with (like Primark and supermarket ranges) but try to find quality items in brands that would be much more expensive full price.
I think one of the real upsides of lockdown is that people are making a real effort to mark occasions as the usual restaurant meals and parties can't happen yet. I've sent Easter cards to my DDs and bought some small gifts for local DD1. I'll sort something for DD2 when I see her. We've promised each other a meal as soon as there's somewhere open. She lives in Andover too sugarbaby so I envy you your visit. I'm going to do us a really special roast on Sunday. We have one every week but this is going to be more like a Christmas dinner …without the pudding!
We went out this morning and met several friends (not all at once😉) and had a coffee. Much though my DH is an absolute sweetheart 🥰, it was great to have different conversations with different people. I made a bit of an effort with make up, my bright red Reiss top and White Company jeans. It's mild today and pleasant enough but none of the hot sun of yesterday.6 -
Happy Bank Holiday weekend, fabbers.I have just received my bag today. This is the bag I have been saving up for for 6+ months. It was hugely expensive, but I used all my birthday/Christmas etc money and just topped it up. I’m so excited to finally have it.
here it is.....9 -

Another person's actions may cause you pain, but they do not determine your future; have confidence and know that you are in control of your choices in life, whatever comes your way (katie Piper)5
