Equifax aren't in a position to speak on behalf on a single local authority let alone all of them, they're talking absolute b******* again.
Have you been able to corrobberate the missing ER data on your Experian and Trans Union credit files as well? It's probably another Equifax balls up that they're trying to palm of on to someone else again rather than taking responsibility.0 -
Didn't a similar issue occur in the early 2000s when some local authorities were concerned about legal action being taken against them for revealing electoral roll information to third parties, such as marketing organisations? I think that was what led to the creation of the 'full' and 'edited' registers? From memory my electoral roll info didn't get updated with the CRAs for over a year, but it didn't stop me obtaining credit during that time.0

Thanks for the heads up, I just checked my report and I am indeed no longer registered on the electoral roll at this address, plus my score is down in current report having been stable for a long time - thought that was due to a hard search for my mortgage application!
TransUnion and Experian reports seem fine, oddly.Credit cards: £9,705.31 | Loans: £4,419.39 | Student Loan (Plan 1): £11,301.00 | Total: £25,425.70Debt-free target: 21-Feb-2027

The big concern here is no-one really knows when it will be updated. Lets face, with the Covid situation not getting better and potentially worse, i would imagine another 6 months - 1 year at least.0

And even if it's longer, the financial institutions will work their way around it, as this is not something that either you, or those around you have caused, or have control over.
