The agent called and they have made an offer on their first choice, but if it doesn't work out they will make an offer on ours. The old agent has now taken ours off the market and will obviously call if needed, but he thinks it is very unlikely. The new agents will be instructed to add it on tomorrow. I was reluctant as we are lowering the price that bit more so if they do make an offer it will be on the new price. Probably irrelevant as I expect they will keep going with their first choice. So close yet so far.

Thank you, I will keep going. I can not afford to drop any further but will keep trying for now. There have been 2 times that we have almost made it. Maybe the next time will be the one.

Feeling a little nervous about work today as we have an inspection but I was in with a lady who knew what she was talking about. I have no clue on the subject (and have mentioned this to the head and my line manager on more than one occasion) as I have nothing to do with it, so my answers would have been very general. She was off sick yesterday and again has called in sick today. I will need to speak to the head and ask for someone else to go in as the results will be bad if I go in. I don't even cover the roll when she is off sick so someone should know more than me on it. Oh well at least it is payday :)

Well I am exhausted and soon have to go out to run the sports club. I will be very glad to get home and hopefully have a early ish night. Work wasn't so bad and once I had mentioned again that I had nothing to do with the topic being discussed, and I was excused from the meeting. I had plenty to keep me busy though.

We are all on a count down but so much to cram into these last few weeks ready for next year. It is also getting busy with end of year events and a few I know that are coming up that haven't even started to be organised as yet. I just know they will land in my lap before long.

Right we had better be off, the sooner we go the sooner I can sleep

Another week done and only 2 to go. I feel like I have only just recovered from the heat and feel my energy is back to normal, but am waiting for the exhaustion to return next week.

Today I thought we were meeting with my sister, but I think she has decided that we will be having breakfast tomorrow instead? Not spoken to her myself so only getting info from DD1 who text her last night. We have a musical to go to tomorrow and I need to get the train tickets purchased today.

Other than that nothing much else has happened. DD2 has her last mock exam (Art) this week coming, so we need to have everything ready for that, but other than busy end of term things not much else is happening.

However early I put my washing out the neighbours always seem to light a bbq. It is getting a little silly now. If I were to have a word I am sure they would do it even more frequently. Come on house buyer, hurry up and see my house so I can move please.

No sign of my sister as yet but she might be popping by later this afternoon. I have bought the train tickets and am now trying to think what I can add to the meal plan for this week, so that I can go food shopping later tonight. I went through the outside chest freezer and pulled a few bits out to bring into my nicely cleaned inside freezer ready.

Thank you Jessy, it seems one of the neighbours must be away for the week as she has already put all of the bins out for collection and the curtains are all shut, so some peace and quiet this week maybe.

I have today off work as a wellbeing day. Nothing much planned other than catching up with house chores. We have very little food in and there are some areas of the house that would benefit from a little clean. I will drop DD2 off at school and go straight to do the food shop. DD1 is at her 1st day of internship - fingers crossed she likes it as this will be her first taste of what her job will be like after uni, and I don't need her changing her mind right now lol.

Yesterday we were out and about as I took DD2 to see Mama Mia the musical for her belated Christmas present. We had lunch out and a train trip. Lots of fun but an awful lot of walking and my feet and joints are all feeling it this morning. So some resting will be happening as well today.

Right must get going, I hope you all have a great day :)

Had a fairly chilled day although I haven't sat down for much of it. I have just been doing a few things on slow. Food shop done and have spent lots but many meals for both the freezer and this week. I cleaned out the bread drawer, fridge and fruit bowl of things that really shouldn't be there any longer. Not too much wasted thankfully, but we need to improve on this for next week.

While I had no meal plan before shopping, I now have a list of meals using the bits that I bought as well as cupboard and freezer things. Not really the right way round to do things but I should know what we are cooking when I get home from a busy day at work which was the main idea.

I also got the car cleaned as the amount of bird poo from the tree I park under was getting silly. I may have to park elsewhere now it is shinny and clean.

Then after lunch I went to the swimming pool, using my membership and getting some more exercise, before collecting DD2 (next door to the sports centre) from school. She is now at band until 8.30 when I will collect again.

3 loads of washing completed and kitchen clean. I feel like I have achieved quite a bit and that in turn helps my wellbeing, which was the whole point of the day :)
