Both mine and DD2's schools shut at lunch time due to the weather. I preferred yesterday as there was at least a breeze. This afternoon it is just still hot air filling the house. I have already removed too much clothing should anyone knock on my front door, but it is not really helping. DS is at work this afternoon but does have air con in the shop so is slightly better off. No preparation for tomorrows viewing will be completed until it cools quite a bit more. I may however be hoovering in the early hours of the morning at this rate.

Cleaning completed, viewing done and now in limbo until we hear either way. They were a lovely young couple and very polite so no idea what they were really thinking. I have a feeling it will be a no but then not sure if that is just because I am so used to that response.

Not sure what to do for the rest of the day other than sit here and hope they think this house is for them. DD2 has homework but has scurried back to her room so I don't nag her. DD1 has been out for the past few days but believe she will be home at some point tonight. DS is at work, so with all children hiding it is very quiet here.

Chicken salad for dinner tonight so not too much cooking needed

I have just heard from the agent and our viewers looked at 9 houses today. They have narrowed it down to 3 that they are considering and we are 1 of the 3. I can not let myself get excited as 2 out of 3 will be unlucky.

Please all keep your fingers tightly crossed for me and we should hear by Monday.

No news as yet, and while I think it is probably a no, I cant help but wonder. The old agent thinks it is also a no, unless the first choice has already gone.

Photos and paperwork with the new agent have also been completed, so as soon as it is ready it can go on RM again. My friend picked up the keys to her house today - slightly jealous.

DS has been called in to do another shift at work, and as I was there at the time he felt obliged to say yes. He has nothing else on now college has finished so no reason why he shouldn't. However his uniform was in the wash this morning, so I am now drying it for him as he needs to leave shortly.
