The Best Is Yet To Come

It is the last day of the term / school year and I still have plenty to do. There is light at the end of the tunnel though so fingers crossed no one dumps anything on me that I don't already know about! I have already received a lovely bunch of flowers from my boss to say thank you for everything that I have done this year.
DD2 broke up with the BF last night and also quit her main job the day before. Seems like she is starting to get rid of the things she is not keen on to make way for some new starts. I hope it works out for her, but I do have my reservations, as I know what she is like and how she works.
I have been naughty and bought sandwiches for the past few days for work as have just run out of time / energy each day for making it before work. Dinners have also been very hit and miss and I have ended up nipping to the shop for small bits and spending extras as I go. I need to organise a meal plan and food shop tonight or first thing tomorrow I think.
On the house front I emailed asking for any feedback and had a glimmer of positive news, although far too early as yet to be celebrating. The couple liked the house but are worried about legal costs which is stopping them from making an offer at the moment. The agents finance team is working with them to see what they can and cant afford. So not a no but still some way to go.
Right I had better get in the shower and then make some lunch!

Well done for making it through to the end of term! I was buying sandwiches and lunches for the last couple of weeks I was that knackered. I also wasn't doing much cooking at home so I think we all must reach the same level of exhaustion and only have enough to give to getting through work. You get to rest from next week though and the best news would be that the couple who viewed your house can proceed! What a way to start the summer holiday that would be!
