Another full week done, and only 1 more to go before the holidays. Really not sure how I will get everything done by the end of next week, but have been doing full time hours this week. I could really do with it being slightly cooler in the office so we don't feel like we are melting all day long. It is not helping with the productiveness!
As I haven't really been anywhere we haven't spent anything for a few days. Dinners have been meal planned (very roughly), although it has been too hot to eat properly.
DD1 has gone off on a weekend break with her BF and friend group. It sounds like it took a long time to get to their destinations and that there were several hangry people in the cars by the time they arrived at the air b n b. I suggested food then unpacking, before arguments took over.
This weekend we will be cleaning the house again as we have a couple coming to view the house on Monday evening. I will have about an hour after leaving work on Monday before I will need to get out of the house, so the majority of things need to be done this weekend. The cat has decided to pee on the carpet upstairs this week and although I hand cleaned it straight after, there is still a smell. I will get the wet vac out on it and try again. I do not want that to be the reason it doesn't sell. DD2 also has a short concert at a local fete and then straight after we are off swimming. At least it will be good to help cool down after.
Right I had better unload and reload the dishwasher so I can make a start on the kitchen

I have spent the weekend cleaning, apart from a few hours this afternoon, when a garden fire started about 10 doors down. It was spreading fairly quickly but eventually the many many fire engines had put it out. It took at least 2 hours and neighbours were all dousing their sheds and gardens in the hope that it would not spread. I was keeping an eye on it in case I needed to do the same to my garden. I think one of the houses may have been touched towards the end but everyone is ok (shocked but ok). Not sure what started it but it was quite scary how it all just went up so quickly. I guess because everything is so dry.
Went swimming yesterday after DD2's concert and it was lovely to cool down after being in the sun for a while. I am slowly clawing back the membership fee.
I think it will soon be time for a shower and bed as I feel done now, and having stayed up talking to my mum while the football was on last night, I need an early night

Scary how quickly fire can spread.
Hope all goes well with the viewing this evening 🤞

It really was scary and has been in the news today. 10 fire engines apparently attended the blaze. My body still feels like it has a lot of adrenalin whizzing round it, even now. I suppose the fire and getting house ready, made a great combination or energy in me.
Todays viewing seemed to go well according to the agent. She said they seemed to be making all of the right noises. They are first time buyers and obviously renting currently, as they mentioned how big the kitchen was compared to their current place. In fact they loved the kitchen (the only room not up to date). Anyway the agent will call them tomorrow to get feedback. I did joke with her that if they happen to make an offer don't wait until I have finished work for the day. They were here for a good 20 min or so according to the lady so plenty of positives. Fingers crossed everyone.
I have just dropped DD2 off at band until 9.30pm, DD1 has gone to BF house and DS is at work until 10pm. I am home alone so the house should remain tidy for a few more hours as yet lol. I am not doing anything this evening other than resting and catching up with emails and diaries.
