I certainly do have support around me and on here so thank you.  My dad is away and had limited access to the internet or I would speak with him too.  He usually can spot potential issues and would have a walk around the neighbourhood at random times of day to see what it is like.  He has a sensible head.

I drove by today and it was all very quiet.  Photos were deceiving a little with the parking as only really 2 spaces but the gates could be moved back further if needed to provide more space.  The other side of the road near the green, there is a layby that has room for 4 cars maybe.  If needed I am sure visitors could get one of the spaces to park there.  There is also a post box right across the road that seemed to make me happy - not sure why as I don't send that many letters now.

So today we are having a clear up and clean - was needed anyway.  I went to the nursery to find some colourful flowers to pot up but they had nothing.  Will have a look at the other nursery when I collect DS from work.  I will speak to the selling agent tomorrow and then depending on that I will instruct 1 of the agents that valued the house to put it on the market.  Then we keep all of our fingers crossed and it sells super quick, we get the other house and can move in over the summer holidays lol.  It would be crazy mad if that actually happened

    Hi Slm,

I'm a quiet reader, following your journey and agree with everyone else this is a fab idea.
What's meant for you, won't pass you by - to put yourself in the best position, your house needs to be for sale.
Sending best wishes for a quick sale, at the right price!

Thank you to you both and thank you @alipops1986 for commenting.  I want to think positively but at the same time not getting my hopes up.  It's silly as the 2 houses I have bought in my lifetime have both been on my own (only difference is I have children to keep a roof over now).  Both times I lost out on a house and something better came along.  Lets hope that if this one goes a better one comes along in time.

I think I have decided on the agent to call tomorrow.  Not sure if I will get time to call before school finishes tomorrow as I have the lady from head office coming down to see me, so I reckon it will be a full day.  Will try for a half day though. Tuesday is then another full one as we have a retirement party at the end of the day.  Wed and Thurs will be half days but I am organising the easter egg hunt on Friday so that's another full day.  Somewhere in there I need to complete cleaning and recleaning ready for uncle and photos.

Right time for a shower and bed :)

3 days to go, and I am very ready for the holidays.  Big boss came down Monday and belittled what my job is which really upset me.  I love my role and she has no real idea what I do or what I am qualified to do.  Everyone I actually work with is very supportive and angry with the boss as they can see how much I have done lately while the other person is off.  Anyway a little break from work will be good to reset my mood.

I was also brave and spoke to the agent and she is coming round on Monday to take the photos to put the house on the market.  As everyone in RL and on here has said - I cant buy a house if I don't sell mine.  I have asked my uncle to help with the garden at the weekend and the house will be made clean and tidy and packed away.  I will need as much as I can get though as the houses that are suitable are out of my price range so some haggling will be required.

Right I had better get sorted for my half day at work :)

I came home at lunch time and have started on the kitchen.  Several loads of washing are now drying in the sunshine, and if needed I will finish them off in the machine.  Will need to remake my bed too once it is dry.  The house is starting to look a little better but still a long way to go really.

No money spent today although I may pay a chunk of the debt off as I need that gone asap.  DD1 gave me 20% of her take home pay this month as she is now on a stable amount and it will help build the funds a little.  She can see the cost of things a little more now.

I will need to get DS some more shorts for summer as he put a pair on last night and they were a little indecent.  He will need the next size up at least.  He just keeps growing.  I can see a new pair of trainers being required soon as well but he can contribute if he wants fancy ones.

HRT is going well and although I am still tired, the aching has gone most of the time and my head feels clearer.  Hopefully the energy will keep improving and I will want to get up and do things rather than having to drag myself off the sofa.

Yay! So glad you made the call! How exciting. I have everything crossed that you'll get plenty of interest. You're doing it at exactly the right time when people are thinking of moving what with spring and getting closer to end of school year.

I need to go back to doc I think I'd like to try hrt instead of the tablets they gave me. My DS is same as yours. Check out v1nted for branded stuff I often see bargains on there.

Ok had a half day today and came home and tried to get bits sorted.  I managed to finish painting the door my uncle started last time he was here.  Just in time!  The only room left to do is the kitchen.  I cleaned some of it but it is not Uncle ready and really not photo ready.  I am not sure it will get done either before he arrives as I need my bed.  I ache and have done enough for today.

Found a few pair of shorts on vinted for DS so not too much spent.  This should keep him going through the summer, although may need a couple of t-shirts.

1 busy day at work to go then holiday time - well sell the house time :)

Just catching up a little while my Uncle has nipped into town.  Been so busy while he has been here tidying the garden, tidying the house.  The garden is looking much neater but it needs some more colour really but seems to be nothing flowering already.

Already been to the tip and supermarket this morning and dropped DS off at work.  Beef is in the slow cooker and pizza dough in the bread mixer (will freeze for another day). Need to start batch cooking again for the freezer while I have the time and energy.  Happy to have finished work for a few weeks and will hopefully be able to soon sit down and relax a little.  Washing has been done and dried outside - love it when I can do this.

Tomorrow Uncle goes home and I have between (expect by 9am) then and 2.30 to get ready for the photos.  Should only need to vacuum, mop floors and a quick all round tidy / clear surfaces.  I have another trip to the tip booked should I need it, just before the estate agent arrives.  We then have band in the evening but I will be sat on the sofa relaxing in between as will need a break by then.

Right must look busy as Uncle now arrived back

Ok Uncle has packed car up and left for home.  All 3 children are still in bed.  Not sure if it is better to leave them there while I sort out downstairs or if I should wake them and get them to sort their rooms so that all of the rubbish comes downstairs first.  Not one of them will enjoy the early (for them) wakeup call and will probably remain grumpy for a while.

I have an appointment at the tip just in case it is needed, might be able to change that until tomorrow and just load the car ready.  I just need to get through this busy day and then I can stop for a little while.

At least the sun is out which always gives me more energy.  Right I best get moving.
