Thanks folks. I'm getting the 'vibe' that this is p**. So I shall ignore until what comes next.

Guess it must be Ground hog days for you folks posting to another naïve personYou're definitely not naive if you've already spotted that in your short time on this sub-forum. 😄Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yup, you'll maybe get a few more of these followed by an offer to pay at a reduced rate to save the hassle of court, and then silence for about 4.5 years, followed by a last ditch attempt to get money out of you before the statute of limitations runs out. Keep ignoring just like you would any other spam.
Have you complained to the BPA about the misrepresentation of their member?

Well, after 14 months of silence, I have had two letters in the week. Second one if from CIS (Credit Investigation Services) who have been 'retained' by P4 Parking (UK) Ltdto assist with thier credit control.
At the top of the letter in bold is RISK OF LEGAL ACTION
Another letter to ignore?
This is a fine for parking on private land of which we could not find the exact location in Edinburgh on a car registered at our home address in Essex.0 -

This is a fine for parking on private land of which we could not find the exact location in Edinburgh on a car registered at our home address in Essex. It may be 14 months later but is still isn't a "fine"Also if you do a 60 second google search you will find that TNC and CIS are the same company trying to bamboozle you, that's how these scammers work.3 -
Thanks for the replies folks and the comformation.
Apologies @fisherjim I should have turned to my very good friend Google2 -
The next letter has arrived from CIS Litigation department with NOTICE OF LEGAL ACTION across the top, giving 7 days. If not, they will recommend that Court Proceedings be commenced.
Another usual type of letter to ignore?0 -
Unless it says Letter of/before claim, and gives you 30 days to respond, it is poor quality bog paper, or fodder for making paper logs for a solid fuel stove.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
