£19.75 spent on a dash to W8rose yesterday, having mysteriously run out of bread and a few other things that are apparently absolutely vital. In my head it's still do-able... but it's going to be close!

Sorry @Suffolk_lass for jinxing your freezer. Glad you've got somewhere to put the surplus.
Spends up to now stand at £177.13/£350 so well within budget thanks to surplus from Dec and 0lio. Need to do a meal plan for the rest of the month to try and use up freezer and store cupboard supplies.
Been awful weather here today, loads of flood warnings, so staying inside and wishing for sunnier weather.Grocery Challenge 2024

Caved in today and entered a supermarket, came out £9.94 lighter so am resolved to stop giving way to this impulse.
Total now stands at £65.61/£124 which is £3.28 per day. That's not bad but I can do better easily as I have milk and yoghurt and more than sufficient meals planned for the next few days.
Weather here is very discouraging too, it has been raining for the last 24 hours and the rivers are dangerously high for the second time this year.4 -

Hi folks, sorry I haven't been posting regularly but I have kept on top of the grocery spend this month. My new month starts today - a week earlier than usual as I got paid today. It will make it a five week month but that's ok. No spends planned as I already have ingredients in to make a cottage pie tonight and HM pizza ove the weekend.6
