I'm now at £121 out of my total £200 budget, after three supermarket shops in the last week. I kept a shopping list for all, and went with planned meals in mind (after checking the fridge, freezer and cupboards first). I should just require top-up shops for F&V, milk, bread, etc. for the rest of the month, so fingers crossed I stick to the overall budget. I have also read through the posts, and really find them super helpful - lots of ideas to get me thinking and also inspiration to stick to the budget6

Suffolk-Lass I have a cheap £90 £100 small chest freezer. It fits in a small space in the kitchen (vegan friends look away) it will I’m spring store half a pig, half a sheep all cut up, free range chickens and beef and a zillion tons of fruit snd frozen veg. When I use the produce, I cook and batch freeze in tin foil containers £1 for 15 which go straight into the oven to cook and you can generally use them twice. They stack on top of each other and I mix them up - chicken curry - chilli - vegan meatballs so things are easy to grab. In the top baskets I put ice cream - frozen garlic/ chilli frozen fruit, sauces, gravy - the stuff I use a lot.DF by 2023 No 17 £1,644 /£6000 Total debt £18,000 at the start of DFW Journey. 201814TH JULY 2021 DEBT FREE now in control365 1p challenge No 497

Nipped to sainsbobs to collect an Arg0s order so thought I’d grab some milk, fruit and some butter for a cake for DS1’s birthday. Spent £14.02 but should be getting £3.10 Shopmium refund (which I’ll take off when paid). Total stands at £80.60/£200. Hoping to avoid the shops now until I need cat food on Saturday.

No grocery spends at all since 23rd Dec. I hope to make it to the end of this month with two weeks to go, but I think milk may be a problem. I've kept a list of what I've used up. Not much on the list, just atora, sweet corn and large bin liners so if I have to order online I'll make the minimum amount required for a delivery by looking at what I use frequently plus fresh veg, salad, and fruit.

Was walking past my local T*sco on my way home on Friday evening when I spotted one of the staff stacking containers of ricotta in the reduced area so I snapped those up along with a box of large eggs which were also reduced.
Then having managed to last until today for milk I picked up y/s cherry tomatoes and 2 x 4 pints at 40p each. I forgot to add golden syrup to the list so didn't buy it today and decided that I can scrape the M*rmite jar at least once more before I buy another so my current total is £55.67/£124 which works out at £3.27 per day which isn't bad.
The freezer is absolutely bursting at the seams again after having been comparatively empty so from tomorrow it'll be use it up time again and for the rest of the month I think.5 -
Only a spend of 80p on milk today.
Made a Cherry and a Blackberry crumble while cooking dinner. Fruit was in the freezer. Flour/fat/oats/sugar was all from stock.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

I am the person they target!!!
£116.25 spent on food on Friday, £24.16 was 'off-list' as it was on offer etc 😬😬😬
Currently at £283.07/£450 with £206.93 to last until the end of the month.
The freezer is full, the cupboards are full, I should just need snacks and fridge stuff for the next couple of weeks. No stocks - just what's actually needed, just what's on the list!!!
