I haven't managed to post for a while but we are currently on about £350/500 I need to check as DH did some shopping this morning. He has been my downfall this month, buying lots of snacks and noodle type meals for the kids to make it a bit easier in the day. Will need shopping this week and have a delivery coming on Sunday so hopefully we will just make it (tge Sunday delivery will make tge beginning of Feb a bit cheaper.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

I am spending a fraction of what I used to spend and one reason for that is not getting online orders where I'm adding store cupboard items to get the total up to £40, but I think the main difference has been meal planning. I never used to do a meal plan for the week, I'd just look at what supplies were running low in the fridge/freezer/cupboard/extra Brexit Covid stash cupboard, and top up what was missing. A couple of things I'm going to make this week are cauliflower & chickpea curry using cauliflower which has been in the freezer for ages waiting for a purpose, and a Jamie Oliver fish in a bag recipe using haddock from the freezer. Still to add on today's shop to my total.

£71.30 at Lidl!!!
My smallest shop in so long!!
Small list due to a couple of big shops lately, mostly stuck to the list (£2.44 off list on a stir-in sauce for laziness and a quiche which is handy to have in the freezer. )
I could use some eggs and veg from greengrocers but OH has had to have a Covid test so staying home while we wait for result.

Another £72.19 at L1dl today, so with two weeks to go, I’m sitting at £267.81/£360. Today’s shop will see us through to same time next week, will just need to top up on bread items for lunches, so £92.19 left for the final week, which I think is totally achievable. Really pleased with that, especially with kids being home all day now too.I got my £10 coupon from my shop today, so that can be used next week too.Bought my first £1.50 F&V box today, was really impressed! For that I got 2 baking potatoes, bag of carrots, bag of onions, bag of sprouts, celery, pack 4 flat top mushrooms, box of cherries, cantaloupe melon and two pears! My only complaint is you have to be through the checkouts to get one and there were some things in it that I’d already bought, so could have saved by not buying those. But on the whole, delighted 😋🙂Grocery Challenge Jan 21 - £86.15/£3607

If I want a F&V box I always go and check if they've got one when I first go into the shop so that I don't end up buying anything which is in it. The checkout girls/guys are fine with you just going through a spare checkout to get one.
