Well we did it! with change left over and a 5 week month. DH decided to spend a chunk at the farm shop on his way home. I really cannot complain the produce is excellent and we are trying to cut out carp i.e buying a desert or cake and the fruit will last longer. The left over £5.79 has been been stashed and change gone into the change savings tub.(this tub paid for 75% of our christmas pressie to us
)
see you in February

Lost my collection slot with 0lio to a charity so may see a slight increase in our grocery spends next month.
Spent £18.04 in Ald! today getting fruit, bread products, crisps and frozen sweetcorn.
I'm currently at £221.99/£350 will declare properly over the weekend just in case we need to buy anything else.
Going to aim to whittle down the freezer contents during Feb and then make a decision about replacing our little freezer, 2 drawers are broken and it's not frost free so I'm debating buying a chest freezer rather than spending out replacing the broken drawers.Grocery Challenge 2024

Came under for January, not sure whether this was due to nothing being due from S&S on Amazon, or coincidence.Probably also to do with not being able to get any delivery slots available.

Hi
On Monday 25 Jan I spent £16.23 at the local shop. This makes my total £103.61/£120.
This challenge has shown me how often I do an unplanned shop at the local shop. This was a planned shop, I gave my self £20 for this shop so was pleased at spending less.

So that's £46.96 in the pot!4
