Number 20 reporting £1457 saved this month. I am expecting a little less this month as I will be doing my Christmas shopping out of my November pay. But hopefully I will have a nice bonus in December's pay to finish the year off well.

#56 reporting £1130 for October - a bit better than last month, but I will need every penny because… my partner and I have just had an offer accepted on a wee house! We get the keys in January so it will be a fresh start for the new year.
We vowed after the lockdowns that we wouldn’t spend another spring stuck in our respective tiny flats, and now we will have a big garden for our cat to frolic in, and room for a home office each. And stairs! The motivation and inspiration from all of you lovely savers has allowed this to happen, so I’d like to thank Slowly and the 12k community for the support you all provide.

Should you want to plunge straight in with reducing your mortgage, @julicorn runs the annual Mortgage-Free Wannabes and will be taking over the next MFiT take 6 challenge (Mortgage-free in three) three-year challenge from @trix-a-belle who has run the last two (maybe more) cycles of three years (and has just cleared her second mortgage). They are both over on the Mortgage Free Wannabe Board. They really helped me clear our mortgage.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

#40 making a late report for October:
S&S ISA: £3600
SIPP: £100 + £12.50 tax relief
Savethechange: £4.98
Month total: £3717.48; YTD: £17,003.38 - form updated
I've put more in my ISA than usual, but I got paid twice during October (my job pays us every 4 weeks rather than once a month, so I get 13 paydays a year instead of 12) and I closed down my Vanguard account and transferred over the cash once it reached my bank account - I don't like having too much money in my current account otherwise I could be inclined to spend it!
I'll probably just miss my revised target of £20k, but I'm alright with that considering I didn't have a job until mid-May. I should be hearing back later this week as to whether I've passed my 6 month probation, and despite the fact that the last time I spoke with my manager she was pleased with me and said 'keep doing what you're doing', I'm still really nervous about itso hopefully I'll have some good news to share this weekend.

#17 reporting in for October, I managed to put aside £1,549 - form updated. I am still on target for this year's revised target of £18k but it does depend on how smoothly the TUPE process goes for my job and what happens with the pension arrangements.
