  • Hope you're feeling better now. Thanks for updating.
  • Hi everyone,

SF I hope you feel better soon.

its been a while since I posted but I am currently at £6436.65 for the year. I will probably get to around £7k by the end of the year so way off my target, but better than getting to £0

I now have a second job which I only started this month and although it’s not a huge amount, I think it will be enjoyable and get me away from homeworking every day. This was the real reason for taking it rather than the money, but all proceeds will be saved.

I am hoping next year is going to be cheaper for home renovation costs, but somehow I doubt it! DH keeps making helpful (expensive) ideas for projects.

Really sorry to hear you've been ill SF - if there is anything we can do to help admin wise on the thread then let us know!

Reporting £2,275 for November, which takes me to £24,725 or 99% of target with one more month to go.

My S&S ISA is also doing fairly well. I will add the interest to my total next month. I think we get paid early in December.

Plan 1 student loan free as of the next couple of days :)

This challenge has been absolutely fantastic for me. I've saved over half my pay this year which I never thought would be possible. Off to up date forms.
  • #55 declaring £2050 for November. In my first premium bond draw this month which will doubtless be anticlimactic!

Thanks SF. Hope things are better.

  • Reporting £1634.02  for November. This month we've had house insurance to pay, plus lots of (very expensive) petrol for funerals and family visits. We received a donation of an excellent bed for the guest room though, so it's good to know that visitors don't have such a lumpy night-time. Another plus this month was cashback on the credit card.

Major expense was paying the balance of our holiday in December in the Canaries (hopefully...)

Hope you are feeling much better Slowly.
