Good Morning and Hello,
#51 here.
This year has been slow gains and on the surface not much progress but I have paid off a substantial amount of personal debt so that next year I will finally be debt free again. Whilst shifting the bulk of my cash savings into stocks and shares ISA, becoming a landlord and back to working full time & upping pension contributions. So all in all not such a bad year.
For December I am reporting - £74.54. Sadly it came down to stock market performance yesterday as I was pretty much borderline.
2025 financial goals & challenges!
1). Mortgage (started Jan 2024) £107,079.62 / £122,400.00 Overpayment total: £904.60 (Inc Sprive yr 1 o/p £19.16 & £55.34 reg monthly overpayment) Equity 28%
2). #7 Save 1p a day challenge 2025 £280/£780
3). £2196.23/£3000 in Investment ISA (34/50 investments)
4). Increase cash savings & saving pots
5). Keep debt to a minimum.

Reporting
£5522.96 - October
£1632.58 - November
£0 - December
Total of £11,000 for 2021, over my 10k target. Thanks to this group it kept me motivated. We now have our emergency fund fully funded, we can start saving for our house downpayment.

#13 Save 12k in 2022, £7151.96 / £12,000
#52 Save 12k in 2023, £0 / £12,000

House Downpayment £7151.96 / £20,0003 -
#40 here with a belated update for November:
· Into ISA (ii): £500
· Fidelity SIPP: £100 + £25 tax relief
· Savethechange: £5.65
· Grand total: £630.65; YTD: £17,634.03
Looks like I'll miss my revised target, but considering I was unemployed until May I'm pretty happy with how this year has gone. Shifting the bulk of my savings into my S&S ISA has got me to the point where I will have earned just under £750 in dividends for my first full calendar year of investing, and I don't believe I'm too far off getting to the point where I'll earn an average of £100 per month (which for 12 months would equal 1 extra paycheck for me).
Glad to see you're on the mend slowlyoff to do the update form.

I'm going to update my November and December totals this morning (as I doubt I'll save much more this month with Christmas looming).
November - £731
December - £1024.25
This brings my total to £11,857.21, which is very close to/ similar to last year. I'm pleased with that seeing as this year has brought some new changes and new expenses with it.
Looking forward to the challenge in 2022

#45 in with a late update of £4,625 for November, and an early update of £3,650 for December, which by my count brings it to £55,361.08 for 2021.Although I've hit my target (and some), I've kind of lost my way with saving this year - partially because it's just been a tough year in which grinding through has overtaken most other things, partially since I've not really found a new financial target after hitting my mortgage-free goal 18 months ago. So I'm going to try and take some time to reflect for the New Year, and try and reset some goals.4
