Sorry for reporting late for previous month's, I didn't forget this forum, life got busy fixing the house this summer and welcoming our new baby in August, hence less savings. We managed to save our emergency fund and now moving on to save for the downpayment for a house.

    May - £1377.14
    June - £140.07
    July - £0.0
    August - £261.41
    Sept - £1026.79

  • #16 reporting £322 for the month of October.

Disastrous attempt this month due to an emergency roofing repair, unplanned work to the tune of £300 on the wife's car, ferry booking for Christmas at the in-laws, another car service and MOT and both a car insurance and home insurance renewal.

#9 reporting in with £1,813 saved in October.  Unplanned electrical work means I don't get over that elusive £2k but upside is I had the cash available and didn't need to dip into any other pots or use cards    Off to submit form.

No. 48 reporting with £1,725 for October

Includes a cheeky £25 win on PBs, but definitely felt more difficult than previous months have. Off to update the form.
  • Month 2 of my graduate scheme and have managed to put away £1360 this month, up £200 from £1100 last month. I had £2500 saved before that, so am now at £4900. Aiming to save another £2720 over the next 2 months, which should mean I have £7600 by December 31st.

From 1 Jan 2022, I will join the "Save 12k in 2022" thread from the beginning!

I need to get a minimum of £12500 for a deposit so I am making good progress at the moment

    Save £10,000 Jan-May 2022 THEN RETIRE!!
Final total for (half) year: -£4,000
  • Hi

£1,381.21 saved for October so total for the year is now £14,899.88. Form submitted.

I won £25 on Premium Bonds this month and also won £100 through my Start to Save account with Nationwide but have not received that £100 yet. I’ll clear my £15K target next month and will probably end up somewhere around £17K for the year again.

Hope everyone else is doing OK.
