  • Number 68 reporting for January.
I managed to save a healthy 971.50 for this month. I received a refund for a holiday which I wasn't expecting which bumped up my savings significantly! Happy Saving all!!
  • Won £25 on the Premium Bonds and I can predict I will spend the rest of the month debating with myself whether to include it in my February total (auto reinvested)!  :D  :D  :D

#70 here having submitted form this morning with a total of £4,538 for February. This includes pension, S&S ISA and cash savings account contributions as I use this challenge to track personal FI goals. It doesn’t include mortgage overpayments as that’s a separate challenge. Thanks,

    First update of 2021!
I managed to save £2,078 in January, so that's my total for the year to date.
This brings my total savings to £199,763. So close to the £200k mark! I'll get there this month. Need to mark the occasion properly. All the usual celebratory options are off the table (eating out, travelling etc) but I will think of something.
    Happy 2021 everyone :)

#80 checking in with a total of £900 for February!

I have updated the form and have revised my overall target from £12,000 to £11,000 as I am not including pension contributions and have recently decided not to bother with a LISA for our house deposit (I was going to include the £1k bonus within my £12k)

Anyway, February has been a fairly good month so far! I opened my first ever S&S ISA at the start of the month. The sinking funds which I set up at the start of the year are looking alright too. It’s nice to know I have budgeted for things like birthdays, my car and even Christmas!

    Breakdown for February:

    • Holidays: £300

    • HTB ISA: £200

    • Club Lloyds Monthly Saver: £400
