17 after sun gel-recycling
18 Father Christmas ornament binned after missing several body parts
19 large cardboard box used for neutral items.
19 neutral items sent to charity organiser. I had planned to pack them away and send them Sept but they were all over the kitchen and when a cardboard box presented itself, it had to be used!9 -
Not a bad day - made the effort to declutter where I could.
Usual recycle and kitchen rubbish out.
1. Some new PJs going to relative soon so will aim to post that tomorrow.
Need some stamps but the price of a book put me off 😂
Managed to do a carrier bag sized declutter from the kitchen drawers/cupboards along with both mine and OH bedside cabinets. Not sure what went really?! *usual bits like receipts, sweet wrappers and so on.
Foot pack to be decluttered (well used up really) but just found that my pedicure thingy has broken so I ordered a new one on fleabay.
Sorted out the airing cupboard so feel a bit better about that. I didn't get rid of anything in there as yet.
Picked up a little haul of YS bits of fresh food and cake, so looking good on food front.
Not sure what tomorrow's outs will be, have to tread a little carefully as plus one is whinging he can't find anything (eye rolling emoji) so unless I poke his eyes out (lol) I might have to ease up a bit.

Bonus 4 binliners have left the house. I put my Chrimble decs in the loft and bought clothed I had been storing for DS2. They are all now at his place and I have told him I don't want anything back unless its for the CS. He tried to get me to store his Christmas tree and decs again and I said no.
Sooo 6/100 bags.for the year so far.

36-42: OOD and otherwise manky food
43: OOD supplements that escaped last year's cull
44-45: 100 emails deleted
46: Bag of stuff emptied and like consolidated with like.
47-49: 1 bag rubbish, 1 bag mixed recycling, 1 bag paper to the bins.
Currently on project "sort the bathroom as it's too darned cold in there". Also keeping an eye on the weather as if we get a cold spell, the overflow pipe from the boiler freezes on the outside of the building resulting in overflow inside the flat. Need to be able to put a container underneath that pipe to catch the water.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Wow this thread moves quickly! I've only managed a quick read as have spent most of the day *trying* to homeschool
.... and declutter
Thank you for the welcome everyone, and especially to Mrs SD for the cheering and medal 🏅 - I will wear it with prideBit_by_bit, thanks for saying that you were once like me, honestly it really does give me hope that I can change! So much inspiration from everyone - thank you! So my tally to date:
1-8. Christmas & Easter (as I said I have a RoD!) decs boxed and bagged up. Lots of things, but forgot to count the contents! DH to put into cellar (we don't have an attic)
Note to self: Start counting when putting things in bags/boxes, will make me feel more productive
9-30. Little lampshades that go on the bulbs of chandeliers and wall lights (my mum has just moved into new place and I acquired anything she didn't want/need). Bagged up and going to tip (realistically no one is going to want/need them!)
Note to self: Do not acquire anyone else's clutter! Then I won't need to feel guilty about not re-using/cycling/purposing it!
31-32. Deleted some emails and recycled small pile of papers.
33. Recycled out of date camping book as new one has arrived (and wistfully wondered when we can next go camping again).
34-35. Started a new folder to keep all of DD's completed school worksheets in - so decluttered one of a million spare folders + a set of dividers for the different subjects.
Note to self: See I can be organised, just need to put into practice more often!
Phew, not bad for Day 2 of mission declutterespecially from self-confessed procrastinator
114/2021 for 2021 OS declutter - have even been awarded 1x 🏅medal13 -
