A few more items to declare for me here
322-323 - reusable nappies, DD has gone into pull-up style nappies now and so I will try to sell most of my nappies, these however had missing poppers, were fine for me to use but not to sell
324 - nappy bucket net, I'll try and sell the bucket and another net but this one was ripped - again fine for me but not to sell
325 - fitbit sold and sent
326 - bent fork, I was even the one who bent it but then left it on the side in the kitchen to see if it would go in the scrap metal pile, in the end I binned it
I've been making Scandinavian stars this week to give to people as little festive presents, unfortunately I can't claim as decluttering as got the Christmas material off my mum as I had none - so technically I've helped her declutter!!!June Grocery Challenge £0/£250

41 old emails deleted today and a few more bits of paper went over the past 2 days.
Also managed to declutter some dust from underneath a table - I think this was last done 3 years ago!I don’t think I will ever get used to not having enough energy to keep on top of everything but I am sure I will be able to cope with more when the clutter is finally all gone.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅9 -
*407. Some left over hair stuff of DDs-recycling
*408. Had a very small sort out in my wardrobe last night. Bits including gift boxes that couldn’t be used went into the recycling today. I had also kept the small left overs of wrapping paper. Might use one or two bits but not the amount I had kept!Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

2249: another 50 emails deleted.
2250-2285: items to binbag or recycling including a cull of plastic containers.

I feel guilty today. My daughter asked if I wanted to sell some more of my granddaughters clear out stuff as her bedroom is nearly done. I said no. It'll go straight to charity now so will go to a good cause. I just cant be bothered to fill my huge porch with stuff to sell again at the moment after raising her £120 only last month.
Why do we feel guilty at saying that word no?
So really I've decluttered by not having someone elses clutter :0)9 -
1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT
2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher; go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉
4. CLEAN & EMPTY SURFACE AREAS - DAILY
Wednesday was a cold, damp day. My frog of the day was scrubbing 2 toilets 😔 Spent the rest of the day watching clearing down various series from the TV planner. Our guests arrived at about 5:00 p.m. with DH’s birthday hamper 👏 - DH’s DSis with her daughter & granddaughter. They had managed to find most of the bits they wanted in the Swedish shop 🙂 Hot drinks all round, lots of chat & laughter accompanied by a snack of focaccia, mozzarella & tomatoes with balsamic vinegar for dipping. The focaccia was a success & very tasty 😋 Wrapped up the lo focaccia for DH’s great niece & gave the 2nd focaccia to his DSis to share with her daughter (pleasingly everyone likes my hm focaccia 😉) Visit lasted a couple of hours & then off they went. Arrived home within 90 minutes. Dinner was pork steaks, mash & spinach 🤤 Wudupa.
2192 - 2195 Kitchen recycling, 2 newspapers, glass bottle - recycled
2196 Kitchen detritus - binned
ruby-eskimo, very brave taking a job with lots of webinars 👏 Great work on keeping your home clean & tidy 👏
Good work EnergyShifter 👏 your target is within reach 🙂
vulpix, sorry to hear that both MrV & your MIL are ill 🤒 Unfortunately wearing masks & constantly washing hands appears to have made us more susceptible to non-Covid bugs - we can’t win 😔 Sending healing vibes.
Oops back later as need to set off for our booster jabs 😱

Back again. Thursday is very cold but dry. Caught bus to Canary Wharf & DSis & I went into B*ots for our booster jabs. We were both jabbed before our appointment times - DSis joined my DH in Pr*t whilst I was resting. Big bonus was that I was also given my flu jab 👏 (which was turning into a frog 😔) I popped into M*S for a bit of shopping whilst DH & DSis went to Five Guys & ordered food & milkshakes + a milkshake for me 🙂 Then bus home. Currently DSis & I are both feeling OK apart from a bit of a headache (Moderna). Although DSis has just admitted that she might go to bed 😉 Back to cheerleading 🙂
vulpix, we might have to organise a big party - each of us bringing along our hm goodies 😉 I love the idea of ‘fostering’ tradespeople 👏 We currently have a plumber, a builder & an arborist 😉 Very pleased to hear that you are are also almost at the end of your decluttering journey 👏 and will just be doing maintenance decluttering 🥳 Congratulations on the stall sales 🥳 What a great way to deal with excess clothes vulpix 👏 I remember the ‘eating the elephant’ idea from a course I went on in the early ‘80s 😱 I have used it ever since when I write my ‘To Do’ lists - breaking each task down into their smallest sections 😉
balabooberlies, my tuppence worth would be to try to sell the quality clothes but give yourself a time limit 🙂 I see you have had lots of good advice from Marpau, -taff, TC77 & excellent information from vulpix 👏
Great work HappyKitties 👏 especially the recycling 👏
TC77 putting things things away is just as important as decluttering especially when you have already decluttered so much 👏 Do you mind if I join you in the ‘Give advice but not follow it’ Club 😉 Great work on moving frogs along 👏
Excellent electronic decluttering short_bird 👏 you must be nearly done now 🤞
Very pleased to hear that you are now covid free, Blackberrycurved 👏 and have spent your time resting but planning your next bout of decluttering & cleaning 👏😉
Excellent decluttering Finstickle 👏 I especially like that you have also helped your mum to declutter 😉
Well done oceanspirit 👏 I agree that once the decluttering is done & dusted, keeping on top of everything will get easier 🙂
Good for you p00 👏 please try not to feel guilty - you have started on the road to decluttering the need to say yes to everything 👏 The judicious use of the word ‘no’ will hopefully result in family members doing things for themselves thus giving you a bit of time for yourself 🤞
Tonight we are fending for ourselves as DSis has gone for a nap & DH ate a bit earlier 🥳
