Thank you TC77. I have recently discovered that it is the information on paper that has kept me hoarding it for so long - all the important financial and household paperwork gets dealt with and filed, but anything I find interesting but know I won’t remember gets kept. But of course I don’t look at it because it is stuffed in boxes and bags and on piles. It is not adding to the quality of my life but instead stealing my time and energy. So, go it must.
Did my Friday Frog first thing this morning (better late than never) and it feels so good that I feel energised and motivated to do more. This Frog thing definitely works. Not sure I am ready to commit to one a day, but will continue with one a week and anything else that gets done is a bonus.
Happy Birthday Mrs SD’s DH. Have a lovely lunch.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅9 -

How beautiful Vulpix.......
Am home after Dad's funeral last Thursday. Not ready to talk about it but my brothers and Uncle did my Dad proud.
One of my brothers gave me a lift home and whilst we were stationary we got rear ended from someone who doesn't appear at present to have insurance.
Am still at 27/104 bags, 1 three pice suite and one 2 year old frog !
Onward and upwards.

Claiming 50 declutter points for today (forget to write things down yesterday). Lots of black bin bags out (will be collected on Wednesday but DS3 has been putting extra bags out and the bin men have been taking them). Several clear sacks full of mainly plastic bottles (brown bin is full but they will be added in when there's space), I just want things out of the house. One old quilt and several pillows were bagged up - no urgency, they can go under the garden table until we have a skip/ waste removal service.
DS3 has bicarbed and brushed his mattress (my mattress) and then flipped it as well. He sprayed the black mould near the ceiling on the outside wall and brought some wipes back with him so I could do the lower parts of the window and the sill. he put the new bedding on but asked for help on the corners and I had to pull the edges of the duvet cover down whilst he stood holding up the duvet and duvet cover. I tidied nearly everything off the bedside trolley and swept what I could out from under his bed.. All my bedding (which he has been using) has been washed in the hope that it will come clean and he's been told his special pillow and one reasonable one can stay if he can get them clean.
There are wipes in the bathroom and Beloved will do a bit every time she goes in there. I've already done the bars on the heated towel rail, the near side of the bath and parts of the sink. I spent most of my time in Beloved's room Must have broken up 15 boxes and several were filled up with bits of paper/ smaller boxes. Bathroom floor is mainly clean - a few stubborn bits and some edges that need another scrub. Found some plates and cups and lots of cutlery - 4 lots taken downstairs (DS3 took some but I had to walk down backwards lifting the plates down every few steps). I estimate I've done about a 1/4 of the floor, not including under the bed.
Have told them mum wants me to move back home after Christmas and I've discussed with Beloved how we can get her and DS3 back in the large bedroom (she's a light sleeper and has trouble getting to sleep). She thought my plan was good. Put both beds toe to toe along the back wall (joint with the neighbouring house). When my children were young, I took down the landing wall so there was more room in the large bedroom. It needed repairing anyway so I had a good look at the structure and decided to do it. If we need to, we can make Beloved a four poster frame and surround her bed with curtains or throws to make it more soundproof. Have a temporary solution if we don't get that far (I will have to sleep downstairs for a while but at least if they are both sleeping upstairs I can do stuff downstairs.
When I was with the specialist weight management service, the Occupational Therapist visited my house. There were aids she could provide to help me (a perching stool like the one I used after my hip replacement) but the house was so full of stuff that more would only make the situation more hazardous. So we need to clear out the rubbish and obvious junk before we can tackle things like their clothes and collections. We will be having a skip at some point and either specialist cleaners to do a deep clean and perhaps someone on a regular basis. DS3 will be paying for these.
When I finally went back downstairs, I had 4 more bin bags and 5 small bags to put out and then made a few trips to the paper bin (used a board and cobble to weight down the contents and could get a bit more in each time). It had started going frosty again so I phoned for a taxi rather than walking round to the office. They said it would be half an hour so I started unloading the dishwasher but it came before I could reload it.

Everyone is making great strides under difficult circumstances. Sounds like you have your mojo back Mothernerd, great news.
I have been in to work today, very quiet as to be expected. Our shortest route has been blocked with drifts and abandoned cars for 2 days now.15 miles to get round ! We haven't got deep snow and it should be gone in a few days. I am very glad that the dangerous oak tree was cut down before the fierce winds. Lots of trees down round and about.
Tomorrow I will drop a bag off at a chazzer, yet to be selected contents already counted. I still need to sort out the Christmas decorations from the shed. I will try to eat my window cleaning frog this week.
Bon voyage Bit by bit.

Mothernerd - Could beloved perhaps try something like the sort of relaxing music natural sounds they might play at a spa -- it might cover background noise a little if she finds those types of things soothing.
