my daughter has always been slightly miffed that she wasn’t blessed in the breast department; she’s all boobs now because she’s been proudly breastfeeding for several months and has taken to calling me ‘Mean tits’

I did some laundry and vacuumed the whole house yesterday.
I need to clean the batroom and clean the oven today. I did tidy up my living room this morning so that looks fairly decent. I need to do another load of laundry today after just putting away the clean washing this morning.
The only decluttering I did was get rid of a scarf I wore out Saturday. It was moulting bits of shiny fabric so it was binned!7 -
Morning all. @elsien we also just have one mattress protector, seems to dry fairly quickly (especially if I hang it in the airing cupboard) so don't really worry about it.
Congratulations on the new home @accidentalglixch and hope you'll be very happy there!
Hope you enjoyed your weekend in Kent @Mrs_Salad_Dodger
Had a couple of friends (and their dog) over for dinner on Saturday night so cue a major clean and organise of the entire house at the end of the week. I was actually on my hands and knees scrubbing the bathroom floor at one point 😆 Took it as the perfect opportunity to do a deep clean before Christmas so just need to keep on top of things now 🤞 Managed to declutter their Christmas gift to them and had a lovely relaxing evening.
Already on the second wash load of the day and the wash basket is now almost empty 😳 Just have a load of whites to do which can probably wait till later on in the week. Have another pile of shredding to work my way through so will have to try and get through that before Christmas too. That might take me closer to my target for 2021 but who knows!

@florianatwobob I like the Christmas plates.
Decided house was looking grubby everywhere so postponed planned frog eating and cleaned house throughout. Pleased with the results but not much decluttering.
1592 Pair of socks which just don't stay put to bin. I have bought 5 new pairs - cheap plain black but they are needed now winter is here
1593-1594 Two more plastic bottles half filled with cleaner used up. There were lots at late MIL's flat as well as spread round mine.
1595 Bio washing powder used up to clean kitchen sinks.
1596 Christmas cards which I don't like and will never use to recycling, some gift tags to charity shop bag
1597 Birthday cards etc written and ready to post
1598 Sorted through various charity letters and decided to buy one set of raffle tickets - the rest to recycling
Tomorrow morning I will have to revisit those frogs - they are croaking at me.

Will read back over the last week's posts but wanted to check in and start making posting as well as decluttering into a regular habit.
Plastering is done in bedroom, carpet is laid. Still got a list of jobs to do before we can move back into the bedroom so will be several weeks yet but feels like good progress.
Best of all the robot vac can now cover almost all of the upstairs so we can keep on top of the day to day hoovering and then do a thorough vacuum once a week. With a *ahem* lot of cats and two dogs (who don't go upstairs but their fur gets transferred) it needs vacuuming daily.
After weeks of feeling depressed about the state of the house, I have decided that doing anything is better than nothing so have tackled the mess that was our bedroom. Clothes piled high on the window sill and both chests of drawers. Have sorted out some summer clothes to go away in the bottom of the wardrobe, have listed a couple of things on freecycle / Olio and have disposed of a dress with a hole, my very worn out tracksuit bottoms, a pair of OH's boxers and a pair of pants to the fabric recycling.
Off to clear the bed so it is habitable tonight. Not finished but a very good start.10
