Lots of decluttering for me over the last few days but I have to admit with DD there is a pretty inward flow as well.
New (to her) autumn winter clothes picked up this week, including a vgc winter coat with attached mittens for £1.50 from the CS 😁😁😁
169 - baby hat to recycling, it had got spots of mold from our horrible porch 😬
170-172 - DD's clothes sold and dispatched
173-174 - baby books to recycling as pages torn /missing etc
175-176 - DD's pajamas to recycling as too stained to pass on. (I feel bad about this, but when you're second /third owner of something it's harder to pass on)
177 - paint stained top of DD to recycling
178 - a top of mine to recycling, this was one I really liked and wore all the time but for some reason got thoroughly mangled by the washing machine 😭
179-180 - a broken toy and cup of DD
182-202 - baby books passed on through the local free site
Now to enjoy the weekend 😁June Grocery Challenge £0/£250

4. CLEAN & EMPTY SURFACE AREAS - DAILY
Peeping round corner 😉 Friday was another dry day but overcast & no sun. DH watched MotoGP practices & then did a mini sm shop - he had only gone out to pick up something he ordered to assist in doing his motorbike repair but a large traffic jam meant he changed his mind 😔 DSis spent practically the whole day in her room - only venturing out for drinks & dinner. I never got around to going to the P.O. 😔 But I did make up for it by spending a couple of hours in the garden 🙂 Harvested 1.432 kg of RED tomatoes. Decided on a mini project - adding wombled heavy duty outdoor tiles to extend the step down from the patio. So took up the weed suppressant & shovelled up the decorative stone & sand. Now have even more to riddle ☹️😔 Spent 90 minutes riddling. Dinner was lo cottage pie, roasted hg tomatoes, fresh carrots & frozen broccoli + DH & I had the last of the soup which was more like a vegetable stew 😉 Wudupa. Finished reading book 9 of the Shipyard Girls Series - only one more left to read but there is another one coming out next month 🥳
1752 - 1754 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, plastic bottle - recycled
1755 - 1756 Kitchen detritus, bag of garden detritus - binned
What a shame Floss 😉
oceanspirit, remember NOT cluttering is classed as decluttering 👏
bit_by_bit so pleased you had a lovely holiday 🙂 not withstanding your cold ☹️ What a nice surprise to have the larder sorted out before your return 👏 You have a prodigious amount of work to do bit_by_bit 😬 😱 but as your name suggests you will do everything bit by bit & hopefully DH & DD will pitch in 🤞Remembering the amount of time it took the allotment committee to decide, I find it a bit bizarre that they want you to sort everything out so quickly 🤔
Good luck with the clothes decluttering skogar🤞Toeless socks are definitely ‘a thing’ but I can’t quite work out when you would wear them 🤔
Liverpool_Anne, what a pain but remember when the joiner & plumber have both done their work it will be at least 4 steps forward 😉🙂 Unheard of in these current times - a face to face with a doctor 🙂 Hope he managed to offer a solution to the sinus infection 🤞The ‘hit it with a book’ scenario reminded me of an episode of Doc Martin 😱
Great work 👏 Finstickle. Hope you have a relaxing weekend 🤞

Saturday another dry & sunny day but did nothing apart from watching TV & reading book 10 - over 2/3rds of the way through. DSis went to the surgery to see diabetes nurse & was sneakily given her flu jab 😬 DH watched the MotoGP qualifying races then went out to pick up the bits. Managed to get there no problem but took over an hour to get home - first route there was a huge traffic jam so tried a second route & that was even worse 😡 apparently a Porsche on its roof ☹️ Dinner was posh burgers & chips as I hadn’t taken anything out of the freezer 😔
1757 - 1759 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, cardboard packaging - recycled
1760 Kitchen detritus - binned
Great work villagelife 👏

Well the joiner arrived promptly and despite being only 21 he chatted about where he had trained and the type of work he has done and did an excellent job for a reasonable price so he has now been added to my list of reliable tradespeople who I would use again and recommend
some money decluttered.
I did a bit of tidying in the kitchen before I headed out to the football but did nothing except finish my knitting, a christmas present for a friend, and watch some tv when I got home. I watched the girl in the spider's web. I have read the book and although I don't think it is as good as the original millennium trilogy the film left me feeling that the script writters had never read the book at all, maybe glanced at a synopsis to glean a few names for the characters but nothing more, very disappointed.
Take care everyone10 -

324-329. DIY items x 6 some brand new😭. I’ve got a cat on palliative care, end of life and although very happy pootling around and stuffing face on chicken and ham, decided to have a couple of accidents all over the new diy things like light switches and some paperwork got hit aswell. Some diy bits I couldn’t use and were going to be passed onto a friend, but never mind.
Note to self, keep new items bought out of the way!Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
