@vulpix I’m too erratic to be ever truly organised – and there is no dopamine in this for me!I’m trying my hardest but it’s an effort - nothing sparks joy for me for very long!I was 23rd in the queue when I rang the doctors, but I did manage to sort some stuff out and then I slept from 1 o’clock till 4.I’m going to cook my favourite blackened cauliflower for dinner. Hopefully it’ll be time for bed again soon9

Nannywindow - very disappointing that you OH's efficient decluttering of the chocs has left you with none to declutter.Mrs D - great news on the new arrivalVulpix - Lovely furniture - it's strange what people get rid of sometimes - usually there is a logical reason - needing a bigger table due to grandchildren appearing etc. but I've also come across people very occasionally selling furniture they have replaced who seem to have replaced something but don't seem convinced that the thing they have replaced it with is actually an improvement / to their taste. It seems rather sad.Well I have started decluttering clothes - as i tend to wear things too death there is a very small proportion that I think the charity shop would want to sell - so a small amount for the charity shop, some for the rag bag and the rest for fabric recycling I think.2024 Fashion on the Ration - 3.5/66.5 coupons remaining1 cardigan - 5 coupons13 prs ankle socks - 13 coupons5 prs leggings - 10 coupons4 prs dungarees - 24 coupons1 cord jacket - 11 couponstotal 63 coupons10

I had a bowl of soup for lunch & we had chicken fried in butter with boiled hg potatoes, carrots, peas, fried lo risotto & dry fried mushrooms 😋 Wudupa.

Not decluttered or posted for a few weeks. Thank you very much for my medal Mrs SD - not buying things that are not needed is definitely the way forward in keeping things out of my little home.

Hi All.
It took ages to catch up.
Popping by after two weeks of hols. This last week has been with friends if Scarborough, We had a fab time even though I had a horrible cold for a few days. I bought nothing for me, so nothing new in the house apart from some coins for DH collection. I may have picked up a few bargains he tells me.
DH and DD cleared out the larder cupboard while I was away and it looks a lot better.
To be honest I was hoping the second week was going to be cancelled after one of my friends couldn't come.
I have a huge amount of stuff to do in the next rew weeks. I intend to pace myself but I have some deadlines.
First, the spare room needs a total declutter in preparation for a visit from my oldest niece in a weeks time. When she is gone we are going to decorate that room in time for my DSis to visit with her children. A tight schedule but it will be done.
Second I have to have moved allotements in two weeks, I have to removed all my raised beds and empty the greenhouse and shed. My new shed needs repair and a new floor. It is water tight and the rat smell has mostly gone. I went over today and measured up. Tomorrow morning I am going to the timber merchants to buy the wood and they will cut if for me too.
Third: DS1 and his wife picked up the keys for their first home yesterday. They are needing a lot of work done for safety e.g. think foam ceiling tiles plus decorating and some repairs. DiL is 6 months pregnant and very exacting. On a positive note; they are taking a two seater sofa off us once ready to properly move in.
Fourth, the front and back gardens need serious attention. Some plant are being removed and split to give to two family members to start their gardens off. Neither has anything in their spaces and have no idea how to start. A friend is doing the same in her garden and some of her plants will come to me for my garden and theirs. I love sharing.
Finally I am have also started preparation for Christmas and have just started a blanket for SiL.
That will do for now. Glad to be back. at last and looking forward to meeting my 100 bag total this year.

Still looking through the clothes to see what can be declutted including quite a number of socks which I am not sure are actually still socks unless toeless socks are now a thing.

Hi all,
1 pair of socks into the duster box, big hole suddenly appeared in one,
Hall, stairs and landing cleared / tidied and hoovered in preparation for the joiner coming at 8 tomorrow. In the process of this I discovered a damp patch under the radiator so a plumber will be required now before the flooring can be donefeels a bit like 1 step forward 2 back at the moment but we keep going.
Actually got a face to face with the doctor today as the sinus infection is still hanging on and I have developed a lump on my thumb that is annoying rather than painful. Turns out it is a cyst, one of those things my Mum would have said "hit it with a big book"Doc was laughing and said it sometimes works but usually comes back so I will have to have it cut out at some point in the future when we have worked our way through the system.
Take care everyone9
