nannywindow, beggars belief doesn’t it 😖 and whatever happened to all our medical documents/records being online 🤔 Sorry you & your DD had such a tough time & very sad that you had to resort to threats of a solicitor ☹️ before the records were ‘found’. I am definitely OK now & I think DSis is on the mend - she did eat all her dinner 🙂 Not grumpy at all nannywindow 🙂

@Mrs SD glad you and DSis on the mend, and hope others poorly are on the mend, fingers crossed Short-bird.
@nannywindow so shocked about your DD and hope the physio helps next week.
Lost my post yesterday, few things, item returned, packaging x 2, hoovered and bits from 3 rooms, library book returned, some admin - counting as 10 1556 may have aded another one but have been making dozens of calls for my dad, social services, OT, care homes, assisted living, sensory team etc, care homes worst for not getting back. His alarm goes off quite often, twice yesterday and he can't hear that the careline are talking to him (profoundly deaf) so v difficult to check ok, managed not to call ambulance and know he's ok, pager which vibrates to tell him phone has rung , and if its mine of DB landline he'll call back to say he's fine. So behind with housework/admin and sleep! So have my list this morning and hoping to make progress.
Everyone has so much on their plate and hope we can all be kind to ourselves as we chip away and recognise that sometimes its ok to not do things and to R &R.11 -
Still cannot remember the other items, I should write them down.
309-313 bags x 5 of gifts sent off with DD. Lost one present, found it and lost it again. Had a replacement fortunately
314. umbrella went back with DD that she had left here. It is Duncle’s who couldn’t understand where it had disappeared to!
🙂 315. gift wrap paper I had for a friend since Jan finally dropped off.
🙂 316. Two new lights now up, old lights out
🙂 317. Lots of packaging and bits from lights and other DIY popped in to recycling
Another 25 neutral items packaged up and ready to go=165 items, my final total for this year.
MrsSD you are spot on. In this one area of my life I’ve actually been organised this year and managed to get my items sent off as planned, a little bit earlier than a last minute dash-which normally never happens,😆Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hi ,
I am with you on cutting ourselves some slack. I didn't manage all I planned yesterday ,but I did do other stuff.
I tidied the bedroom, emptied a blanket box and took it out of the room. Still need to clean the bedroom window and give the furniture a polish where it struggled to get up the stairs. Luckily it is made from recycled wood so little scuffs don't look out of place.
I emptied a corner of the spare room temporarily into the bathroom and installed a pine tallboy in the corner. Stacked 6 banana boxes on top of the tallboy. The spare bedroom and the curtain hunt can be another isolation day activity.
I also washed and line dried 2 loads of washing.
Plenty of rests throughout the day.
Mr V started to reassemble the woodwork on the stairs that we had to remove. Which resulted in me having stuff out of the pantry and tidying it up. (looking for a box of screws)
I have 2 boxes of craft supplies which I went through to find a tiny template. At the moment I have 3 crochet baby blankets for charity on the go. Not quite enough wool to finish any of them . When I can get back to craft club someone has some wool for me. I hope to put these last 3 blankets to bed and start a patchwork quilt. I make quilts the hard way ,all hand stitched. They take forever. Every time I say never again! Oh I also brought out some UFO's that I had forgotten about. 2 knitted baby cardigans ,hate doing the neckband and a cross stitch wedding card that I started for DS, put it away then moved house and didn't have the time to finish it.
I also tidied the cupboard under the sink whilst looking for polish and window cleaner.
So the house is looking quite tidy with the exception of the kitchen table. 9pm supermarket delivery last night and other stuff waiting to be used, found a home.
Honestly the house just needs cleaning now and that is the bit I don't like. Grandmaster at avoiding that!
As you can tell I am feeling much better, Mr V not quite as well as me but getting there. He still has a very bad chest.
721. hair grips,unused
722. tanning body lotion makes me orange
724. 2 bedside drawers sold before I had covid
725. chest of drawers ditto
726. flat cap joke gift from Mr V's 60th
727. soap on a rope ditto
728. knitted hat unworn, unravelled and added into charity baby blanket
Pounds gained £1,428

Hi!
Got a message to confirm a negative Covid test: I would guess what I have is allergy and pollen related. (shrugs)
Right, I'm giving myself another 15 minutes then heading into the kitchen to plan a shopping delivery.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Good morning all!I hope everyone has changed down a gear at least for the weekend 😃I can’t believe I’m still finding things to declutter as I continue streamlining my life. I had a flying visit from my eldest son this week and he was absolutely blown away with what I’ve done to the place! He helped me with three ‘jobstacles’ that were preventing me from proceeding so I had a further flurry of activity after he’d left.I’m still dreading the thought of another boring lockdown winter - I will be shielding no matter what the government guidelines are. I was looking forward to my yearly appointment with my rheumatologist at the end of the month, mainly because I have a really comprehensive blood screen each time, and this serves to separate the Fibro symptoms from the autoimmune symptoms. I would rather have a full blood test and a quick telephone chat about the results with my rheumatologist than a full on specialist appointment and I’m debating whether or not to write to his secretary tomorrow and suggest this! I’m also going to explain that my Health Insurance are prepared to accept blood tests results within a range as proof of health to travel as I haven’t technically been admitted to Hospital for MAS for over 2 years.Talking about travelling, my friends daughter included me on her friends and family discount for the cruise company that she works for and I’m having a taster cruise at the end of October. It’s a four days to the Netherlands and I have one excursion- a trip to the Van Gogh museum! It’s cheap, it’s different and it gives me something to think about for the next few weeks! It’s not really a cruise as such – it’s more like a very long boat trip in dull weather! A practice run for the real thing next year!12

Mrs SD, thanks for letting me keep my medal (I`ve deployed a tarp on the logshelter and awaiting this pm`s rain to test result!) and I`ve also filled next door`s green bin as they hadn`t used it this week - they often put an extra binbag in my household waste bin though as it`s rarely full, so I didn`t feel cheeky asking permission. Also thanks on behalf of Mr Drakeford for your kind words and his medal and gold star! Nobody`s perfect, but I reckon he deserves both!I`m glad you enjoyed your meal out too, well deserved treat.Vulpix, glad to hear you`re on the mend, and ShortBird well done on -ve result.3 Sec Memory, how lovely to have a little `tester` break to look forward to, hope you get your blood tests sorted too. It`s barely drizzling now so I`m going to try to cram a bit more unwanted jungle into next door`s bin while I wait for rain to start....Then I`m just going to slob out, maybe start a to-do list for next week.9
