Mrs SD, I do hope you're on the mend, it's so easy to forget how awful it is when you're ill.Hopefully taking time out will help.

Tuesday stayed dry but chilly. DH went to sm for a small shop - still unable to get DSis’s lacto free milk 😞 but treated me to a lovely bunch of flowers & a box of chocolates 👏🙂Dinner was bacon, eggs, oven chips & roasted tomatoes. Wudupa. DH is all packed as he is off early Wednesday morning going to Wales for the last RBR landmarks. An overnight stay & back very late Thursday.

Re decluttering the wardrobe: a few years ago there was a Canadian lady who kept a blog about how she wore the same brown dress to work for a whole year, and no-one noticed (at least, not to her face). It was knee-lenght, sleeveless, with buttons. She wore it as a dress, as a skirt (with a sweater over the top), as a cardigan, etc.I try to keep track of the 'cost per wear', meaning that if a shirt cost me €25 and I wear it once a forthnight for a year, it has cost me €1 per wear. This means that if I buy a shirt from a charity shop for €2 and wear it only twice, it's the same price as the expensive shirt. Even if I throw it out after that, it has given me some variety. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5911

Wednesday is currently a dry but overcast day with a chilly breeze. DH said goodbye about 7:15 & was gone by 7:30 a.m. I got up just before 8:00 😱 watched a couple of episodes of Prodigal Son whilst drinking my mug of tea, then went to P.O. to post the first baby blanket & get some cash. Popped into a couple of corner shops on the off chance that they had some of DSis’s milk - not a chance ☹️ Got back just as window cleaners were going round our close so windows cleaned & I paid the bill 🙂 pruned all my tomato plants of excess/dying foliage & found 4 RED cherry tomatoes 🥳 Washed & ate one which was delicious 😋
Will investigate To Do list & see what I can do this p.m. 😉MrsSD🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🥇⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So the books I put on a local free. Site went quickly and as one job lot so that's another 17 items.
I try to use the library as much as possible nowadays but do love a good CS trip for books etc, though I always make sure they go back out the door these days.
I'm also claiming 1 for a glass jar. This was one used for sugar whilst camping but as we have loads rather than putting back under the sink once cleaned I put it straight in the recycling
Hoping to declutter my brain a bit later and write a to-do list. My LG isn't going to sleep at the moment and I'm missing my evenings and feeling like the lists in my head need to become lists on paper asap. Wish me luck 🤞😁June Grocery Challenge £0/£250

Currently sorting out for my first weekend away since January 2020 and first trip to Manchester since October 2019. Obviously need to test before I go anywhere...
And confirmation arrived that I now have the job: the logistics are being sorted and I have a meeting next Monday.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Thanks @mrssd. I hope you are feeling better soon.
Everyone is very busy, must be something in the air.
I have took a shelf unit and a shopping trolley to the cs today. A bag is filling with more stuff to go. I foind a new to me cs near my DS3 who I see regualraly and popped in. I bought a few items for specific purposes so they will be used.
Also today DS3 and I moved a compost heap into a raised bed on my new plot. This heap had been left by my friend because it was made from 'bad weed' and was worried that it would regrow. It has sat for 6 years with regular moans from the comittee as they don't like compost heaps at the front of the plot. Most of it has gone now and I will finish it tomorrow. Also today I cleared the back of my new shed of dense brambles, haresting a big tun of blackberries along the way.
My big achievement though was pulling everything out of my shed new shed, some of which went in there 6 years ago when I joined my friend and had been covered up. Lots of plastic waste and some stuff that could be used. There had been an infestation of non pauing guests though and I so no surprise when I found the corpse of a dead rat.It was mostly skin and bone as it was old. Also lots of rat droppings. I have dusted all the ledges off to the floor and was wearing mask and gloves. Tormorrw I am clearing the floor in a hazzmat suit and then scrubbing from top to bottom with bleach. Otherwise, apart from a few fixes it will be good to go.
