Happy to report I've managed to write a to do list and actually start working through it. Feeling more. Organised and settled already
135-136 2 old work notebooks, I have 2 work laptops and was struggling to get them in the drawer and both these have been and not revisited in a while
137 the tupperware drawer of doom. Bought some new tupperware - all the same size, got. Rid of all the Chinese containers and other tubs we don't use often. I'm sure. It'll need doing again soon, however for now I'll be pleased and claim one
138-140 - 2 items of clothing to the material recycling, I'm sure mother's of toddlers keep these in business. Too stained to pass on and I have too many rags. One had basically turned orange from a calypso on the beach - this does. Not come out!!!!June Grocery Challenge £0/£250

Hardly used my phone this week because I set up Google assistant in my sitting room. Handy because my hands hurt.
I’ve had a terrible week. When I rushed into town last week to sort out the BT raid on my bank account, I took with me three bags of car boot float – £50 in notes and coins to avert OD charges. It wasn’t until the weekend or Monday that I realised I didn’t have it and I hadn’t paid it into the bank. I remember certain things like and IT guy being there and I didn’t want to wait in the queue to pay it in having spoken to the advisor and seen that the Halifax had credited my bank with the money. I thought I’ve just taken it home but there’s no sign of it here. I’ve wrecked the house and spent ages wandering from room to room wondering how I could be so stupid . I’ve been so upset with myself I’ve doubted whether I should be going on the cruise, plus when you’re trying to be frugal losing £50 is devastating. 😞

Have you contacted the bank and Police station to ask if it's been handed in? It's surprising how many honest people are still about. Sending (((hugs))) XXI Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy8 -
3 second memory, it's awful I know but please take a breath. All of us at some time have lost money, purses etc. It happens when your mind is so focused on a shock like the BT raid on your bank account. You have been doing so well please don't let this spoil things for you. It may well turn up.
Am back with parents. Left in a hurry yesterday. Dad now has pnuemonia on top of everything else.
Before I left I was busy with putting like with like. I had made some progress.
Am claiming one more bag.

I'm finding reading all your posts inspirational. I haven't been productive at all the last couple of weeks mental and physical health definitely taking its toll. Apart from a trip to the vets with the dog and a trip to the hospital for me, I've just been in bed for several days. I'm hoping things will start to get better soon with new meds.
I did manage last week to donate 25 books and 20 items of clothing to the charity shop, which is a start. I have also been unsubscribing from lots of emails I don't want to read but not counted those. Hopefully I'll be able to see the useful emails with some of these gone.
Total of 47 items for now.

@3secondmemory how upsetting losing the money, but try not to beat yourself up. It happens when too much going on and a sign you need to be kind to yourself. You have done so much over recent months sorting out finances and clutter and motivated so many of us.
Bala, hugs ..I'm so sorry to hear about your dad, and hugs to everyone in need, or who it would help, and hope we can all be kind to ourselves x

@3secondmemory, I agree with others take a breath and then try to mentally retrace your steps, it may turn up. I have thought I have lost money in the past only to find it in a totally stupid place after having thought I had looked everywhere, the salad draw in the fridge was one place I remember, to this day I have no idea how it got there. Big hug coming your way.
I managed to get about 80% of the decluttering done in the back living room, hall and landing in just over 4 hours today before the man arrived to measure for the flooring. Lots of stuff put in the bin, other stuff reorganised and stacked in the small bedroom, I will have to sort it again but it is out of the way to enable the flooring to be done. I do have to find a carpenter though to sort a floorboard that a plumber cut through to get to a pipe and now doesn't sit right. This will have to be done before the flooring can go down so I will start the hunt tomorrow.
Yesterday I took a call from the doctor who had my repeat blood test results and I have an infection so antibiotics were prescribed and I collected them from the chemist today and I am hoping this explains my lack of energy. I am amazed after everything in the press about lack of resources to do blood tests that it was done so quickly and I got antibiotics with only a phone call, pre covid I remember it being very difficult to get antibiotics and never without a consultation and probably several other things being prescribed to try first.
Take care everyone9 -

Well Friday was a bust as far as decluttering or doing anything at all was concerned 😔 I just cannot summon up the enthusiasm or will to do anything - although I did water the garden 😉
However DH successfully unblocked/cleared the u-bends for both the bathroom & cloakroom sinks 👏 Dinner was posh burgers & chips delivered. Wudupa.

You are a strong, independent person & an inspiration to us all.
Thank you to Chrystal, balabooberlies, TC77 & Liverpool_Anne for your kind words to 3secondmemory 👏
Sorry to hear about your dad balabooberlies ☹️ Keep up the good work 👏
Sorry to hear you have been unwell njk1012 but hopefully your new meds will set you on the road to recovery 🤞Great work on the decluttering njk1012 👏 & I really think you should count the unsubscribing from emails - even if it is e.g. every 5 = 1 added to your numbers 🙂
Liverpool_Anne, excellent work 👏 you really were a whirling dervish 🙂👏 I am very impressed so one medal 🏅 is on its way 🙂 Hope you are successful in getting a carpenter to come out quickly 🤞A good result with the antibiotics - sensible doctor -better to treat the infection before it becomes a major problem.

I spoke to someone from BT complaints department last night. I explained what had happened and asked if I could be put through to someone ‘a bit higher up’ to talk about what happened. It’s not the sort of thing a call handler can resolve from home because it’s a unique situation.I was initially satisfied with the £50 credit on my bill but didn’t realise that I’d lost £50 going into Town. I wouldn’t have gone into town, I didn’t need to and I certainly don’t have the energy to expend doing things like that! On the Thursday that it happened, I explained to the first woman that I spoke that I was disabled and it wasn’t just a case of ‘popping’ into my bank. The boy I spoke to you last night was horrible. Told me that there was nothing could be done and repeated several times it was my fault I’d lost the money, my fault! I know it is but I wouldn’t have been in such a panic trying to rectify their mistake. All that stress and pain and I’m financially worse off.A friend of mine has given me an email address for the higher complaints department at BT. I’m going to try and compose an email later on.10
