1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher; go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉
4. CLEAN & EMPTY SURFACE AREAS - DAILYSunday has been a mostly bright & sunny day. DH watched the MotoGP races. I read & watched mindless TV + a quick trip to local corner shop for milk - I had cancelled delivery one day too early ☹️ DH & I did a bit of gardening - more propping up of tomato forest 😉 The Swiss chard had to be composted ☹️☹️, DH trimmed front hedge, I deadheaded dahlia & weeded several pots. Neighbour G & family are back after 3.5 weeks away - had a great time & the weather was reasonably kind 🙂 The pot of tomato plants I gave him is doing really well - some of the tomatoes are huge but still green. Unfortunately his apple tree is not fruiting this year ☹️ Do any of you ladies/gents know if I can use crab apples to make my tomato chutney? G had a quick look round our garden. We discovered he likes horseradish sauce so we will experiment with our plant 😉
Dinner was steak cooked by DH with sautéed hg potatoes, y/s carrots, roasted tomatoes & mushrooms 😋 Wudupa.
1606 - 1607 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans - recycled

Shed declutter has started. Had fun (not) scraping away large dusty spider webs - yuk! The spiders weren't overly impressed either. OH has booked a slot at the tip for tomorrow so been clearing out the larger items for him to take to ensure the car is full but also helpful to create space in there to be able to see what else needs to go.

Hi, Hope everyone is achieving in their endeavours in whatever form that takes.
Mr V has gone to the tip,the DIY shop to get some wood cut to mend the pine chest I bought. Just replacing a piece of trim that a dog had chewed a bit. he has also gone food shopping. I am on my first rest of the day! Still painting. I aim to get everything one coat by lunchtime and at least 2 walls 2 coats by the time I cannot face anymore.
Change of visitors plan.DS and DIL coming tomorrow but not staying. They are on their way back from York after attending DIL's Granny's funeral. She died the day before their wedding but they decided not to say anything on the day. Very sad.

Not much decluttering or cleaning done as keep falling asleep due to paracetamol. I am very much hoping to declutter the toothache tomorrow - it has been a long wait. Decluttered some money on small people over weekend. We did a nice local nature trail, car boot (I bought nothing), some swimming and had an expensive, totally naff lunch out at hotel where swimming pool is. Used to be nice with good range for kids but not so now. Even children agreed we needn't bother going there again. Nothing wrong with MrS and MrM cafe now they are open again for a treat. Taking small ones away for a few days Wednesday - Saturday then it looks like lots of visitors the week after that.
BG have offered me £200 compensation. I have asked for a bit more as a thermostat change proved to be necessary which should have been done by BG.
Lots of hugs sent out as many seem to be having difficult times.2025 Decluttering Campaign 635/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Thanks for the awards, Mrs SD
I am planning on revising the target once I have hit it and can see how much of the year is left!... - I start a full time job 1st Sept (first regular full term hours job in over 21 years....!! 😱😱) so I am expecting to fit less decluttering in from both a time and energy viewpoint! 😄

Thank you for the ⭐️ @Mrs_Salad_Dodger
Sorry to hear of everyone's troubles, here's hoping a new week brings a new perspective and the chance to make some positive progress for us all.
A hectic week last week, of work, lunches, sewing, a long walk with a friend and then away camping for the weekend.
This week doesn't look much different as away at a festival from Friday - Monday and then away in the van for a few days the following week. The fur baby is in kennels so will need to ensure everything is sorted from him by Fri morning and DD is only at the festival for a couple of days until she goes to my mum for a couple of days and we have some child-free time :-)
My mum is collecting her from the festival on Saturday evening and she is also attending a birthday party on Sunday, so clothes, present and card etc to be sorted by Wednesday which is Nanny's usual day to have her.
As I prep for going away, sorting the van etc I'll keep decluttering the areas that are perhaps a bit more hidden - a couple went this last week. I'm encouraged that I do always seem to have something to add. Work is quieter this week and I am in all 4 days (my std) so will plan to post every day as a motivating tactic.
94 - Swimsuit
95 - Mess tins I upgraded to a set of nice Vango pots, for cooking and eating out of when it's just me (when it's all of us we cook on a camping stove rather than just the jetboil I use by myself) and they also work much better for doing water for tea (which I use the jetboil for regardless)
96 - Old glasses (unfortunately nowhere local which takes these, and they were fairly crooked etc, but still seems a waste to just throw them away)
97 - Game instructions

Big hugs and positive vibes to all who need it.
Nothing gone to charity shops so far this week but DH and I took one end of the camper to bits as it was a garage and unusable for bed space. Its all opened up, looks huge. Waste in the bin, reusable bits stored in the gagage.
Next bit will be to work out where we want stuff and get the elctrics looked at. They seem to be a bit all over the place. Lights work, plug sockets don't. Two large battereies for different things. Its confusing. I am looking forward out first weekend away in it though, hopefully the end of September.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor.
