1327-1329: rubbish, recycling and paper recycling to bins
1330: tax paperwork gathered
1331-1340: items either flung or directed to correct place.
1341-1344: 200 emails deleted or unsubscribed.
Phone call made to collectibles store to see if they want to buy anything: they're an hour away on public transport so sending photos first. And, as a result of the call:
1345-1346: DVD's to charity shop bag.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

@Siebrie - if it helps at all my first husband played a very similar game. I regret letting it go on for so long.He only engages with our children now when he’s single and bored. He works in Plymouth and he didn’t even check in with them last night to let them know he was okay. They had to track him down - it took 4 hours. I’m just forever disappointed – our daughter is due today. I would’ve thought, like me, he’d be checking his phone every 5 minutes. Prehaps being a reliable presence instead of a liar-bility for a change?
I guess they don’t change 😞
i’m just hobbling round and pottering to keep busy. Executive dysfunction kicked in - I can’t do anything now until the baby is born.7 -
Back from visiting family. Took a bag of craft stuff, a bag of wigs to my SiL. I also dropped a rrag bag of at the CS on Tuesday before I left.
Came back with a bootload of stuff. To be sorted tomorrow but mostly it will be distibuted between the CS, the bin and the chemist; more OOD meds. At least it won't be a binliner full like the last few times. Great to see them all though.
Hugs to all who need it.

Well !
another day of not achieving as much as I would like. Yellow wall given another coat of paint ,blue alcove given 2 more coats of paint. 1 1/2 blue walls given first coat. I had an unexpected visitor and couldn't get back into it after she had gone. It will be Monday before I can do any more painting.
I have kicked a door stop in bare feet. Sporting a blue little toe. Not as good a job as when I kicked the coffee table also in bare feet. Perhaps I should learn from this!
Off to B n Q tomorrow for a new door latch and other stuff also going to buy new bedding and curtains. £££££££. The bed sheets we have are not deep enough for the new mattress and keep popping off. I will be spending money from sales so money neutral in effect.
3secondmemory how very exciting awaiting a new baby.x

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher; go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉
4. CLEAN & EMPTY SURFACE AREAS - DAILYVery disheartened as I just lost a long post 😭 😭 So a shorter version coming up 😔 Friday was dry & warmer than it has been although mainly overcast. Dealt with post immediately including phoning bank to pay cc bill & check accounts. Then into town to bank Premium Bond winnings cheques (3 x £25) There & back in 80 minutes - decided against visiting butchers or sm + a bonus - Bank station has opened all entrances/exits 🥳
Got back to find DSis clearing down programmes from planner (a series I never got into)
I drank a mug of coffee & then joined DH in garage. Spent 3 hours sorting, tidying, cleaning & rearranging with a view to parking one of the motorbikes in there whilst still being able to access the fridge/freezer 🙂 Started at the front & went down one side of the garage - emptying boxes one at a time & rearranging contents like with like rather than higgledy piggledy 😉 Tool box now closes, work bench only has items to relocate to shed + bags of soda crystals for under kitchen sink cupboard. Four shelves in the shelving units were rearranged & the 2 empty ones we created now have builders vac & flat trolley on them (off the floor 👏) & we swept the floor. We also have bird food, coconut shells filled with fat & a box of peanut butter to be relocated to the garden storage box/shed. A trug full of rubbish incl. almost empty paint pots, dried up glues, useless fittings for panniers - counting as 50 items. We will continue tomorrow + plumber coming to service boiler. We stopped at 7.15 p.m. & decided to order Chinese rather than me cooking. Means we have Chinese for dinner Saturday as well 🙂 Wudupa.
1540 - 1544 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, paper packaging, a Justin plastic sweetie box, cardboard box - recycled
1545 - 1595 Kitchen detritus, 50 items from garage - binnedTC77, hopefully useful info for Siebrie as there may be something similar in Belgium & the Netherlands 👏 Making firm plans is an excellent decluttering tactic - it helps to clear the mind & sets you up for the next round of decluttering/cleaning & decorating 🙂
Good work short_bird 👏
3secondmemory, seems there are many people like this & I do like the description
‘liar-bility’ As to executive disfunction - you are entitled as you are awaiting the arrival of a grandchild 😉
A very useful family visit - bit_by_bit 👏 You are obviously regarded as the ‘Decluttering Expert’ 👏😉vulpix, try not to be too impatient 😉 you have still done a lot & you must be noticing a difference 🙂 As to stubbed toe syndrome - you are probably like me - go months walking around in bare feet with no problem then have a couple of coordination glitches 😔 Vow to wear shoes & do so for a while then revert back to bare feet 🙂😉 What a lovely position to be in - sales to cover new purchases - money neutral indeed 👏MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🥇 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Decluttering Target: 2021 1595/20212021 Savings Pot: £300.90 to end of AugustBe Kind. morning, woke up quite overwhelmed, my dad rang yesterday to tell me he may be sent home on monday, but not knowing if any help - I'd spoken to hospital and social services earlier and no mention of this (he's 98 and lives alone and been cooking etc). I cleaned and sorted some things while staying at his but can be 3 hours each way.. Mothernerd totally in awe of you and all you do for your mother. DD1 has my good hoover as wanted to tidy for her landlord and is moving in about 10 days - unfurnished.
So, up and tidied dining room table and hall, few things to go out,
1444 broken hairbrush
1445 small bits binned
from last week - DD2 had broken bracelet that I managed to get replaced (her dad refused to hand over receipt so some sweettalking retailer). 1446
2 medicines handed back 1447-48
1449 nicotine replacement gum picked up (DD1 gave up while ago)
trying to give glasses, cloths, cleaner and cases a home and other things I spend a v long time finding.

tc77 what a worry about your Dad. I hope some help can be sorted out.xxx We had similar with Mr V's Mum, but they put help in place very quickly. She did however dismiss them the day after she got home!
Siebre I don't often comment on relationship issues as I think people will do what they do anyway whatever advice they get. I will say however I have read your posts for years and sometimes it doesn't matter about blame or potential loss of money. Sometimes it's just best to quit and walk away for your own and your childrens stability. (speaking from experience)xxx
love liarbility and co ordination glitch. I am a big fan of wordplay.
You are making great strides in the garage Mrs SD. I am amazed at your Premium bond wins. My Grandad bought me some when I was born. Never had a single penny.
Have ordered new king size bedding and curtains click and collect. When the house is straight again I can also put the new bedding I bought a while ago on the trundle bed.
I am frustrated at how slow I am at decorating. As with all of us I would have had this done in a couple of days when I was younger. It's the up and down ladders that get me. I seem to do an hours work then sit down for an hour. It is looking soooo much better though.

Gosh, so much news.
Still not at home but with parents. Dad hospitalised for 4th time. This time a much better hospital all round. Tests due this weekend that should have been done months ago.
TC77. I can only speak from my very recent experience. DO NOT LET YOUR DAD GO HOME UNTIL CARE PLAN IN PLACE. Social Services, Enablement Team, District Nurses etc. There must be central hub where his needs will be decided. The facility he is in should have all information. Stand your ground. Fight if you have to (in a nice way). KEEP telling them that you are 3 hours away. Just keep repeating yourself.
If I sound strident it is not aimed at you. It's where I stand now through bitter experience.
So pleased Freda is mended and guarded.
Sadly only 24 bags and one 3 piece suite have gone. Ergo 24/104.
love to all
