The unopened packs could go to food banks. But yes, I agree, if you put them on fb or freecycle they will be snatched up.15

was dithering (one of my problems) over 2 leatherette bags. Decided to wash them. One didn't make it. Problem solved. Unfortunately going to landfill because I don't know what to do with it.

Tree and decs up into loft, card in recycling, brought down, or more accurately, chucked through loft hatch, bags of curtains, bed covers, throws, cushions, also found 2 handmade mans suits and a beautiful grey wool/cashmere mix coat, belonged to my husband, deceased nearly 9 years. Will photo list on F/B either free or a low price depending on condition.
Also found a sack of towels will donate to local dog trust.Do I need it or just want it.19 -
All the decs (only one small box now after a few years of gradual decluttering) now away in top of cupboard. Xmas jumpers and socks in the wash. I've decided to aim for getting "something" out each day this year so whether it's one item or a bagful, chazzered, sold given away or dumped, that's what I'm aiming for. 2/365.Magnolia Stellata20

Hello fellow declutterers, hope you are well, hugs coming your way if not.Binned a set of fairy lights as only half of them are now working, also the transformer and the spare as neither now needed, recycled the xmas cards ( except one from DD and family to go in my memory box ) and a large broken xmas bag.All cooked party food from new year now gone into our tummies and we're going to use up the last of the roast beef for tea, waste not want not as the saying goes. I'm on a mission to throw out even less food waste than last year, I don't know if it will be feasible, but I'm going to try.nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently19

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. CLEAN ONE ROOM (TOP TO BOTTOM) EVERY MONTH (hopefully 3 weekly by the end of the year)Sunday has started well - I got up 9.30 without the alarm clock (forgot to set it - again 😉)
Dark, overcast, damp & cold although the sun did peek through about 20 minutes ago for 5 minutes ☹️ & I can now see bits of blue sky 🙂
My motorcycle trousers are in wm - washing with specialist cleaner & also waterproofing. Will be dried in td - which is now on. Not very MSE but they are to thick & heavy to let dry naturally ☹️
I have taken down the Christmas cards, torn off sender details which have been shredded, fronts have been sorted into 2 piles - with glitter (bin) & without glitter (recycle). Non animal ones recycled & the animal ones left for DSis to go through & see if she wants any for crafting. String & pins stored for next year.33. Shredding
34. One lot of Christmas cards recycled
35. Cardboard packaging recycled
Great work leelad 👏 Shame about the fizzy drinks - did you empty down the toilet?(supposed to help with clearing limescale although not sure it works if flat 🤔) I’ll be round later for a cup of tea & some Yorkshire Parkin 😉😉 I hope your wife noticed your decluttering 🤞See you next weekend 🙂
Just you gettingthrifty 🤣 but if they are pleasant dreams & help you to declutter then i hope you have more 😉
Great work tryingtoavoiddebt 👏 you have been busy 🙂
Well done villagelife 👏 I especially like 56 & 57 🙂👏Hardly late Lover_of_Lycra 😉 Welcome aboard the Decluttering Charabanc/s 👋 Rather impressed that you have decided to declutter after only 9 months 👏 It took me 35 years to make the decision 😞😉
Great work Viking_mfw 👏 Your DH is determined to sabotage you 😉 after all a pair is two 😉KatyLovesCats, the age old conundrum - you do not want to waste food so freeze it, then you start thinking you are a food hoarder 😔 you are not, you are a Prepper 👏 However, now you are eating from the freezer think of the money you will save 👏👏 Good luck with the kitchen cupboards tomorrow 🤞
Well done Black_Saturn 👏 Cleaning is decluttering - dust, dirt, bacteria all consigned to the bin 👏 ‘Mess monster’ made me smile 😊 Re the nappies - nothing from me but there seem to be some great ideas from whiteguineapig, Viking_mfw & Marpau 🙂
A last lie-in lynnsey30 ☹️ Good luck with the home schooling 🙂 I hope you manage to find a home for your wool 🤞Most of my wool is in a huge box in the living room - waiting for me to knit large numbers of beanies, hand/wrist warmers & scarves. Yet another project for DH once we have decorated our bedroom - I want him to either build a shelving unit or buy one 😉
balabooberlies, shame about the leatherette bag that didn’t survive ☹️
pamsdish, Well done on decluttering the Christmas 🎄 & decorations to the loft 👏. Good luck with the clothing & bedding disposal. I hope the wool/cashmere coat brought back lovely memories of your DH 🙂 Sounds like he was a well dressed gentleman 🙂Well done stellata 👏 I have noted your target. Sounds like you have done all the hard work re Christmas decorations - only putting away unbroken/working items each year thereby stopping clutter 👏👏
Great work nannywindow 👏 Not really sure you wasted any food last year 😉
Wow Nicnak excellent work 👏

Good morning. As much as I would love to list drawer 3 all as individual items, there was no way I was counting it. A million cheap (children can't wear them) /odd/broken earrings/necklaces. More pens and cards. Lots of the girls old out of date inhalers, most about empty. A bag of coins for the kids favourite funfair in Cornwall, they stopped accepting them years ago and closed completely over a year ago.
It was the drawer where all the children's Christmas/birthday money goes so they are now all rich 🤣 I must sort them bank accounts. There is an envelope of old notes that needs posting to the bank though.
Just need to sort the top of it and dust the TV etc now.
