Only decluttering here is cheese, made into scones, sampled one and it's yummy......
Egg carton, flour bag, sugar bag and a pair of religious shoes all in the bin as well.
Cleaning wise, the cat, she jumped up and knocked the flour tub over, so one black cat turned white, bless her she stayed still for me to clean her. then had to do me and the kitchen.£71.93/ £180.0019 -
Afternoon MrsSD and fellow declutterers, slim pickings here today. A bottle of empty factor 30 sunlotion (thinking ahead for the Summer months 😄), a tube of congealed toothpaste, a pen that's run out of ink and a packet of contact lenses where the prescription does not match up to my wife's current one. Reminder for me to drop them off at the local optician at some point. Stopped early in order to build a ⛄ with my daughter. Hope I'm ok with posting pics on this thread.22

Wow this thread is long already!
Joining in if I may with a target of 365 bags/things. We're hoping to move house this year so I really need to look at the whole house with a 'do I want to pay someone to move that' lens.
Had a nose in the loft yesterday and got rid of all of the cardboard boxes for toys that we no longer own = 2 bags
Sadly, also had to throw out our wedding cake toppers as they had got damp and gone mouldy = 1 bag
Today I have sorted out some of the kids clothes and have 3 piles to donate to various friends = 3 bags
Also sorted out a black bag of cotbed bedding to pass on to SIL = 1 bag
There is a fairly large mountain of 'to go' stuff in our garage, waiting for selling sites and the charity shops to re-open. Not counting any of this until it has left / has a firm home to go to though.
7/365 bags cleared.

Not much getting thrown out here this week but I’m slowly finding (hopefully permanent!) homes for some of my stuff. I’ve still some of the decs to come down but most are boxed up and sorted thro.
Items out this week include one dress and 4 tops to recycling bag, a top to my mum which is far too small for me, 2 cables that look broken and I have no idea what they are for and another bag of underwear that my son says are too small. Total 76/500
Well done everyone on all your successes! Plan for rest of weekend is to get Christmas packed up and in attic, finally finish my clothes and tackle another corner of my bedroom. Also, continue to keep kitchen clean and clear and the ironing up to date x20 -
Leelad mentioning suncream reminded me about the suncream I have that expired - we were due to go to the USA early in 2020 but with Covid it was cancelled and we are possibly going to rebook for 2022. So that's another couple of few half used items! I went through my wardrobe today, I don't have a big collection of clothes but do have some really old clothes I was keeping just in case I got another corporate job. Also cleared out dressing table drawers and found old makeup I don't use anymore.
34. Silver eyeliner pencil - at least 3yrs old as I remember wearing it to my work do in 2017
35. Makeup pencil sharpener - don't have any makeup pencils anymore
36. Mattifying primer - separated into liquid and lumpy mess
37. Concealer - clumpy
38-39 - old cheap necklaces that have tarnished and i don't like enough to swap the chains out
40-47 2 black leggings used for painting binned (I still have a better painting pair), 3 x vest tops from around 2011 donated, 1 work shirt that gapes at the bust donated, navy cardigan with bobbles and pulls binned
48-49 cheap handbags I don't use anymore donated
50 hot water bottle never used
51-53 cotton bud packaging, 2 x empty cardboard storage boxes nibbled by rabbit - recycled
54 pair of holiday sandals worn twice and hurt my feet so much - listed on eBay
In: New lunch cool bag from AliExpress to replace the one with broken zip I threw out.
Also found the Clinique face brush my sister in law gave me for Christmas many years ago and a new brush head for it so it's on charge so I can start using it again. Feeling quite pleased with progress, have been cleaning as I go and working on small areas at a time so I don't make a huge mess that will take hours to tidy up!"I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better." A bag for life full of free magazines, papers, torn out recipes, old calendar, diary etc recycling from a basket full of 'rubbish', I just need to decide whether I need to keep the basket? whilst waiting for the kettle to boil and my tea to brew I sorted the junk drawer in the kitchen throwing out some bits and finding a couple of things I forgot I had so the question is do I still need them if I had forgot them?
Christmas decorations taken down and a few old ones which have been lurking in the box thrown away
I think know I have a cookery book problem 🙄And yet I still buy them

Thankyou Mrs SD. I have had a few weights taken off my shoulders, some of my own making.
The thread is moving so fast but I wanted to metntion to all declutterers intending to send Christmas decs to the charity shop. If you want to give decs and trees to the CS it is best that you hang on to them until October. I put them in a separate labelled bag/box and put them in the loft with a reminder in my diary. Sounds organised but I saw that they threw perfectly good decs a few years ago as they had nowhere to store them. Not everyone can do this obviously but it is something to think about.
Good news. Yesterday I cleared the craft room table and today took pics of items to sell on it. I also have two bags or rags and two bags of clothes for the CS and another bag of stuff for the refugee support centre when they open.
Finally I am announcing my first bag for 2021. A bin liner rubbish from the said craft room went in the bin so 1/100.
Well done to everyone who has also started their 2021 decluttering journey. It is really worth it.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. Good evening.
All ornaments/ pictures dusted and put back on top of fire. Piano cleared and dusted. Christmas paper hat binned. Christmas cards binned. Theres about 10 boxes of kids Christmas cards, must remember not to buy any next year as now they're all at secondary they hardly send any.
Started on the big cupboard under the TV. Most of it has stayed as was sorted not long ago. It just needed a dust and defurring (we have 4 dogs but how tge hair gets in the cupboard I'll never know). Hand full of papers and a dog behaviour spray thing into the bin.
Need to sort the drawers now, this hasn't been done in years as they don't actually pull out of the unit and everything that has fallen out of the back but need to feed some children first.
I'm going to try the 2021 thing for everything except the clothing, will count that out in bags.
