Morning all. I envy all of you who can remember in enough detail to make a list of what you’ve done.
when I switched to Google and got an email address, for some reason I got 2. I’ve just discovered the second one😂😂😂🤦♀️🤦♀️11 -
Early start today (5am) so more decluttering from contents of old dining room unit. Need to go and get fuel and will hopefully visit tip and CS as well.
1290 DS2 cut grass back and front
1291 - 1292 Tried on 4 swimming costumes - 2 fit nicely so I kept those and 2 to CS bag
1293 Unused sports/shoe bag - think it must have been late DHs
1294 -1296 Various wooden ornaments - not on display or ever used so to CS
1297-1298 Large and small decanter to CS - cheap glass
1299 Ashtray to CS - from back in 1970s when we occasionally had visitors who smoked - I kept a large heavy one that my dad used for his pipe because I like to see it sitting in cupboard
1300 General tat to bin
1301 Bundle of small crocheted lace doilies and mats to CS
1302 Bundle of stained random serviettes to rag bag
1303 - 1304 2 cutlery holders to CS - strange design that didn't work
1305 - 1310 Tablecloths x 6 to CS. I still have 8 but they have been used in recent years plus my mother's large white damask cloths which she used for catering. I think my daughter will like those at some point.
1311 Broken ornament binned
1312 Ornament to CS
1313 Holiday souvenir cruet set to CS - bought at least 20 years ago, never used and I don't like it enough to display. I have photos of the holiday. I stopped buying holiday souvenirs about 10 years ago other than something I really need plus runners for the top of units - I have several handmade local craft ones which I use alternately all the time.
I will load the car ready for tip and CS - can't go there until 10 - need petrol as well as only 56 miles in tank. I will ring dentist when they open.

TC77, poor daughter and yes definitely poor emergency workers in this heat.
Sirens int he village have been busy this weekend, people walking up mountains in flip flops, falling off bikes, rocks, parasails that kind of thing!
3 second memory. I use lists for everything. jobs to do, shopping, decluttering. 3 small notebooks held together with a plastic band and lives in my bedside drawer. I also have sections in the books for interesting stuff like a shade of paint I saw and liked and how to distress a mirror! Also interesting stuff that I can use as quiz questions. Our family do a Christmas quiz where we all have to write 10 questions each. Saves a scramble on Christmas Eve!
Car bootsale accomplished. It was too hot and kept people away but made £117 and somehow 85p. Much more than half was DD1's stuff, she has taken it all with her, result. She made £150. DD1 says I sell much too cheap. Vulpix says it has left the house and will not return! As we packed away I filled 2 big bags for life for the charity shop. I also gave away a lot of things, if people picked them up. Just glad to rehome them. There is a little more stuff still at my Mum's which will go to another car boot this summer. As I unpack at the house I am putting new gems I have no room for in a box. We still have to empty the car yet as Mr V wants to have it valeted today after it's hard life recently.
I will not bore you with my updated list since I last posted it but numbers have gone up. Some big thing gone. Originally I was just keeping a record, then I thought, aim for 365 now I am going to aim for 730. 2 things a day which are no longer my responsibility.

DH & I completely emptied the shed apart from the shelving unit. Vacuumed out the shed, then scrubbed the rubber floor, washed the drop down table (built by DH 🙂) & put back a couple of items. Also cleaned the window. First crop of blackberries from our 3 year old bush - just 3 blackberries i.e. one each 😂 delicious 😋
Also harvested one potato pot 👏 Heavy watering of all plants & good news as most of the tomato plants are flowering 🙂👏1359 - 1364 Kitchen recycling, 2 plastic bottles, drinks cans, cardboard packaging, magazine - recycled

3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher; go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉Back again 😉 Sunday dinner was posh burgers, onion rings & chips.Monday has been another hot, hot day but occasionally clouded over & gave some respite from the blazing sun 🙂👏 DH has put up the large garden parasol on the patio. Then DH & I spent 5 hours in the garden - the shed is now fully restocked & reorganised, all the gardening tools have been cleaned & oiled, harvested another 3 blackberries 😉, I pruned the tomato plants and was pleasantly surprised to see we finally have some potential tomatoes 🥳🥳. DH has also put plastic spikes on the roof edge of the shed to stop the pigeons roosting. Very entertaining watching how annoyed the pigeons were 🤣 The garden is now a lot tidier as everything has been put away in the shed or returned to the garage. We had plenty to drink, wore hats & I also had sunscreen 🙂 We took our time doing everything at snail pace as it was so hot 🥵, taking plenty of mini breaks & making sure no ‘Justin’ items were returned to the shed or garage 😉 The upshot is that there is plenty of space in the shed aka ‘the oven’.1367 - 1372 Three small cardboard boxes, paper & card packaging, one large cardboard box, many drinks cans 😉 - recycled
1373 - 1376 A pair of worn out garden gloves, 2 carrier bags of detritus, empty plastic bag (ground cover) - binned
Dinner is going to be takeaway fish & chips as I cannot be ‘arrised to cook 😔
Apologies for falling behind on the cheerleading 😔 but here goes 😉
Excellent decluttering stellata 👏 You may not be creating lots of space but sorting out the fiddly little bits can be liberating - everything is neat & easy to find 👏 & you are less inclined to clutter again 😉
Eek 😱 dinner has arrived so will be back later 😔MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅 🥇 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Decluttering Target: 2021 1376/20212021 Savings Pot: £225.90 to end of JulyBe Kind. Stay Safe. Break the Chain. Save Lives.2024 Savings Pot Challenge: As a monthly amount, running total = £166.85

We had great intentions today... The only thing accomplished was to get the car valeted.
We drove to our nearest town 10 miles away, just drove into town and our builder phoned to say he could come to look at some work I want doing. Did a U turn as catching a willing builder is a rarity. Big, big, big plans to repave the back yard, side of the house and front path. A much larger area than it sounds and involves taking some stone walls down and removing a large amount of soil and drains n stuff.
We drove back to town and had the car valeted. Mr V received a call about starting back at work at a pub he worked at until lockdown. Starts next week and then every Sunday evening there after.
Whilst he was at the pub I went in a charity shop. Purchased with carboot money a copper garden lantern and wait for it, a picture frame. It replaces one I have got rid of and I want it to frame some postcards for our bedroom wall.
I met an older lady that I used to chat to when she walked past at the old house. We have both moved. She is renting a house in town. Very nice you may think. She owns 2 houses but has had to rent as neither is now habitable as she is a hoarder. I knew about the 2 houses and her hoarding. She also rents a storage facility which is full. I was shocked that she is now starting to fill another house. She was in the charity shop buying an armful of gubbins. Her only family is a niece and nephew who live in America. God help them.
Gave away about 25 bottles of prescription liquid food on FB. Prescribed to MR V after his stomach operation. Far too many for him to finish.

I have been away for a few day sbut things in here have been buzzing, despite the heat.
Hugs and hope to those who need it.
@3secondmemory. I recently went through a huge stack of paperwork with my BiL. He has learning difficulties. Just getting rid of the envelopes and leaflets etc the pile reduced dramatically.
Glad you are settling in @vulpix. You ahve so much energy, don't knoiw how you keep it up 😊
Nothing out apart from some cash over the last few days but on a positive note, despite opportunities for buying, very little in, so still a win.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. @3secondmemory , I can't remember what I've decluttered so you'll see when I'm doing quite a bit I post often and then remember something else. At work I can remember things but often at home forget the dinner is on, where things are - used to have everything in one place, then had work done on the house 10 years ago and I've never got to grips with where things are - or where they should be!
Have noticed the room I do my work in is so much better, first without the sofa but then clear up/out at the weekend. Abit more today. As DD1 won't be doing her old room for a long time (fracture clinic rang her to say need discussion about surgery on her ankle) so I ventured in there. - not sure where this will leave her catching up with her nursing placement! but could be much worse so practising gratitude
1304 - 1309 sorted out pile of papers, so neatly piled with many recycled, few other bits binned, plastic wallets put in their home, clothes tidied away, other things away.
1310 - ood food
1311 - took food, clean linen etc to DD1 and have arranged a wheel chair loan from red cross - managed to avoid buying second hand one! forgot the form for her to complete to report the accident.
1312 - tidied /recycled receipts
1313 - emails, including query re DD2 appt which neither of us wrote down and have no reminder .
Possibly something else but can't recollect what!

I’ve got so much more stuff done today just because I was putting off having to charge up another device so that I could google “how to delete multiple emails” 😂😂😂
I am so bad at multitasking that I need 2 devices plus screenshots just to remember instructions 🤦♀️😂😂 it took me awhile, but once I got the gist, I was able to delete 50 emails at a time
