Needed to rewash all the bedding + duvet, as DH had sweated for England 😱 However, everything dried on the whirligig 👏🙂 I didn’t get anything else done as DH was still very unwell 🤒 & needed to be near the bathroom - so I was up & down stairs providing him with hot & cold drinks including Dioralyte to help replenish salt & electrolytes. DH managed to eat half a slice of dry toast with a scrape of peanut butter & 2.5 rashers of bacon with half a slice of bread - the rest of the bread went out for the birds.DSis had a bacon sandwich for dinner & I had a slice of bread with pate & half a bowl of lo spaghetti Bolognese. Thank you Vulpix and Mrs SD - I have added gold star to my signature this time. I was up and ready to go quite early but realised my neighbours would not appreciate grass cutting at 7am. Weight loss still only 1lb but that may be connected to the incident of the sausage sandwiches last week. I treated myself to the Saturday Times newspaper yesterday and enjoyed the puzzles - will read it over the course of the week. I used to buy just that one each week but had got out of the habit.
1018 - Bank accounts updated and finances checked
1019 - 1020 Birthday cards written and ready to post today
Have a lovely day everyone.

Hello all, it's such a beautiful day with wall to wall sunshine here.Yesterday I culled DH's work clothes cupboard or rather he did after I was covered with an avalanche of stuff after I opened it and I threw a wobbly. So out went 11 T.shirts, 4 sweatshirts, a pair of joggers and 2 pairs of thermal leggins ( they're all stuffed in a carrier bag and now in DH's shed for him to use as rags apparently, so we'll see if they get used ! )Binned - 2 children's toothbrushes, the DGC now have new adult ones, recycled the cardboard box from a new outdoor clock and sorted the weekly detritus. Deleted umpteen e-mails and several books from my kindle. Birthday cards in the recycling except DH's as he made it himself on the computer, very impressive.Today I have been busy trying to declutter the garden, it's a never ending battle and I'm not sure who's winning 🤣 I culled the height of 2 more shrubs that were throttling my "dwarf" rhododendron, which is now 12 ft high but covered in beautiful pink flowers. The green waste bins have been re-filled and I've mowed the front lawns and planted some new climbers and perennials in a border, I shall keep the plastic pots and fill them with salad seeds. I found a single potato plant, I'd obviously missed that last year, so I'll leave that to grow.I'm probably going to have plenty of time on my hands to declutter as DH starts more cancer treatment this week and we have to isolate until it's finished, about mid July, so that's another lockdown for us then, we should be used to it by now 🤣MrsSD sorry that your DH is poorly too, I hope he gets better soon. Men are such a worry aren't they ?Apologies, I'm waffling for Wales again, I'll shut up now. 🤐 Hugs to all the poorly ones or those with daily worries.nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently8

804-834: 1000 digital photos. I "got on a roll" as the saying goes and found it reasonably easy to get through some folders as I didn't have any emotional investment in the contents and that's why I've only counted it as 30 items...
835-838: 4GB of recordings off the main PC drive.
839-842: stuff from fridge and a bag of rubbish.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
"It’s a beautiful day with golden sunshine and blue skies all the way.” David Lynch.7 -

1026-1029 4 pots of weedkillers used up or thrown out (one had 1 2003 use by date) - pots rinsed and recycled
1030 Garden broom snapped in half - replaced with new one
1031 Several bags of weeds, pruning and old leaves collected from down side of house and garden recycling bin filled up
1032-1033 Both lawns cut and grass recycled2025 Decluttering Campaign 635/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

@EnergyShifter. I think you are right about not taking it for granted. Fab that you are feeling better now though.
@mrssd: I hope DH is feeling a lot better today. Sounds awful, all that washing; lol.
Happy Christmas @vulpix
Back off hols and now decluttered the decorating of the lounge/diner, a 25 foot long room. Cleaning furniture as it is returned to the space today.
I took 2 bags of clothes to the CS on Saturday, but they only left the car for 5 mins while I sorted them, so not counting.
Today I hope to declutter a load of paperwork from my sister's estate as probate has been granted. A few weeks and all that will be over and done with thank goodness.
DD is coming home permanently in 2 weeks so have a lot of work to do before then as the hosue is a tip and her room has stuff in it. She is gracious about it but it is not ok.
