@ Mrs SD, may I ask why you have a jar of peanut butter affixed to your olive tree - wild guess is a feeder/treat for squirrels as ours nosh on the peanuts in the bird feeder.

@GrannyKate it may take me time to work out new style on my phone. Can't see the leisure and hobbies , but agree I'm not sure I'd list as such. Hoping its one i can give up at some point and just do the one in and one out system.
DD came to supermarket with me for first time for years.
Managed to get neighbours ( absent landlord) to repair a drain that runs along my extension- they're a few foot higher so worry about damp. Has been hassle but they did before then heavens opened.
Swept garden as don't want the rain to wash stuff down the drains. Counting as 5, bowl, rusty wire brush, plastic bag and other bits and garden waste .nothing from house. Keep meaning to do cables and work through categories.
@3secondmemory, i haven't been able to help as I'd like but hope the friend will reach out and get help locally. There are so many good and caring people out there. I try and reinforce to my dds that its important to reach out for help, people want to help and they will gain from helping and it doesn't have to be same people who help each other etc.
Sorry for ramble but its so sad that some people aren't able to reach out for help ( and as bad some help that should be there in a civilised society isn't there.

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher; go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉Wednesday was hot, hot , hot 🥵 DSis did her washing which dried on the whirligig. DH went out to get my prescription stamped & also picked up the antibiotics 🙂👏 Have just checked & as over 60 should be free 😔 that will teach me not to check 🙄 I had a lovely surprise this morning - a bouquet of flowers 💐 on the doorstep from my wonderful DH 🙂🙂🙂🥰 as a thank you for taking care of him 🥰 I was happy to do it - he is rarely unwell & it is not an imposition but it is so wonderful to receive unexpected flowers 💐🥰 Dinner was salad for DH & me but cooked oven chips & a sm quiche for one for DSis. DSis & I watched The Great British Sewing Bee - pleasantly surprised at the winner but IMO not the best dress 😉
1170 - 1175 Kitchen recycling, magazine, 2 newspapers, drinks cans, wrapping paper - recycled
1176 - 1177 Kitchen detritus, cellophane flower wrapping - binnedA very sensible purchase 3secondmemory 👏 you can do without getting a chill 😉I am pleased for you that the ADHD coach experience was mostly positive & successful 👏 Hopefully you have a few new ‘weapons’ in your arsenal. Fingers crossed that future successes do NOT trigger your ADHD 🤞
GrannyKate, must have been frightening for both you & DD & she was very fortunate to escape with minor injuries 🙂 I have no idea about Boris’s rules - so after the family barbecue I have gone back to social distancing, mask wearing & minimal trips out. Still decluttering & exercising 👏. See - I knew decluttering & cleaning were hobbies 😉😉😉
Good work short_bird 👏 A lot of the time nibbling away at tasks is the best way to go aka ‘eating an elephant’ 😉Great work daisy_1571 👏 & good luck with the selling 🤞Poor dad nudge, nudge 😉😉
Hi there SanguineGina👋 The peanut butter was set up as a treat for the little birds that visit our garden but of course the squirrels munch away & now the mice 🥳Good work TC77 👏 Very pleased to hear that the neighbours absent landlord has finally sorted out the drain. I quite agree that we should ask for help when needed but often we don’t want to impose 😔 and it is very sad that our current society leaves a lot to be desired ☹️MrsSD 🏅 🏅 🏅 🏅🏅 🏅 🏅 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Decluttering Target: 2021 1177/20212021 Savings Pot: £164.80 to end of JuneBe Kind. Good morning Folks,
Work yesterday. Stressful but I managed and it wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. The ice cream planter has started to grow and a few tiny lobelia flowers are out.
I have spent some of my pounds gained on a cast iron table and arm chairs for the garden. It will fare better than wood at the new house because of overhanging trees and not a lot of direct sun.
Mr V is broken. He hurt his back moving the shed last Sunday. He is dosed up with painkillers. Bless him, all my fault, he is such an obliging chap and he does anything I ask... including moving sheds.
I too have had sunstroke. I was a nanny in California, spent the day at the beach, fainted and woke up in bed still wearing my bikini 2 days later. The bed was all sandy!
I agree about asking for help. Though I love to help people I am dreadful at asking for help. Very sadly someone I knew had to have their dog put down during lockdown and came home and committed suicide. Very, very sad. Just awful.
Today I will press on with packing. All kitchen cupboards now empty and have been cleaned. All that is left are 2 drawers in the island, the built in cupboard and some old oak drawers with stuff like batteries and plasters in them. That will be it! All the boxes are stacked in the big spare bedroom and the kitchen. No where near as many as when we came here. Hooray! Ah, small under stair cupboard with my craft stuff... Then we will be done.
417. piece of oak worktop given away
418. new hoover bags for a hoover we don't have anymore
419. jam jar of emulsion I used for touching up, separated, binned
420. Wooden garden chair, Mr V broke it by sitting on it!
Ah, now to weight loss. Imagine you have a wedding to go to Granny Kate, it works wonders for the resolve. Maths was never my strongpoint. I have miscalculated weight loss somewhere so will update numbers. I haven't lost a huge amount in one day!
Pounds gained £1155
Pounds lost 24lbs

Thanks Mrs SD - going to put some out for the squirrels, see if they like a dollop of the crunchy stuff.
Lol, Daisy - visions of Dads being flung into the containers now!
