1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher; go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉
Wednesday was another gloriously hot & sunny day with clear blue skies. DH was busy again:- gardening - our half size raised bed is collapsing so new wood ordered (arriving Friday), tidying garage - he binned a few bits which I will count as 4 + a bit more office tidying & DH did the washing up 👏 - I dried up & put away. Hm soup for lunch. DSis went out to pick up a partial prescription 🙄 My tasks for the day 1. Turned mattress & remade bed (we slept on the mattress last night 😔) 2. sorted DH’s wardrobe shelves & the 3 drawers in the chest of drawers. I created an empty drawer in the wardrobe which I filled with the duvet. Dinner was mushroom risotto made from scratch 🙂 it was delicious 😋.
Vegetable box received: cabbage, 2 corn on the cob, 2 courgettes, onions, potatoes, asparagus, 3 red peppers & a living lettuce. All stored properly.
1120 - 1125 Kitchen recycling, office recycling, drinks cans, 2 newspapers, cardboard box - recycled
1126 - 1132 Kitchen detritus, 4 bits of garage rubbish, broken duster, pair of DH undies (they shrank 😉) - binned
What a bonus 3secondmemory 🙂 youngest son visiting AND use of a car 🥳 Are hogbabies hedgehogs? If so, how lucky are you 🙂👏 Cats do like your undivided attention 😉 & proud Charlie is being treated like royalty 😉 Well done on the FB sales 👏

Another 5 binbags of textiles out, to the tip this time, as the textiles were all beyond repair.Husband is away for 3 months and I have collected his clothes that were all over the house, 3 loads of laundry in total! Those are done now, and the items are back where they belong.I am constantly 'corralling' items, every time I walk through the house I pick up items and take them in the direction they need to go. I may not always make it there, but I put them down up to where I got, to take them further next time. (So: dd's cuddly toy that I find in the kitchen, I pick up and put on the stairs when I'm going to the toilet underneath the stairs, to take upstairs to her bedroom later). It works, and I can do it while I'm working from home. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5910

Sorry for absence - I have been mostly digging and wrestling with the root stump of the tree that supported the broken 'bird table'. I am winning but it's very hard going - every couple of inches I dig down I find another forked root and it's mixed with a very hard clay layer and now odd lumps of brick from when the house was built. Using two saws, a trowel, and my trusty crowbar to tackle the roots. I may have found the bottom of the tree but there are arched forked roots (each is 1 - 5 inches thick) with tight packed soil/ clay in the spaces in between. Various bits hurt (they queue up to tell me how much they hurt), the insides of both index fingers are sore and I've run out of different ways to hold the trowel.
As light relief I went to my house on Tuesday. DS3 was apparently asleep (showing as being offline for 14 hours) so I couldn't get in the house on my first attempt (he leaves his keys in the back of the door so mine won't go in far enough from the outside to open the door), so I went to little arseda (first time since 20th March 2020, as DS3 reported that their social distancing was appalling) and bought a few bits to tide me over (and lunch/ drinks for whilst L was there).
Got in the house but was mainly working outside. Paper bin was nearly full (DS3 did that last time I was there) so added a few bits and put it out for collection on Wednesday morning. Gave it a quick squash down then collected more empty boxes to fill the space. Started to collect and flatten more boxes for when the bin comes back after emptying. Neighbours asked what I was doing (putting the flattened cardboard under the legs of the chair I was sitting in to properly squash them) and they offered me the remaining space in their bin, which they'd just put out. Did another load of boxes and more garden waste, plus moved some empty plastic bottles into a spare bin in the backs - won't be collected but it works as a 'holding station' until they can be fed into the regular collection.
DS3 was very proud that he had been using a bin bag and putting his rubbish directly into it. He was on his third so I took the two filled ones out to the black bin. I went into the town centre to do the other part of my shopping (diy/ miscellaneous items from a list that's been growing over the past 2 months). Gone 4 pm so only groups of young teenagers about. I bench hopped but the two nearest the traffic lights (outside the pound emporium/ Mc D's) were fully occupied.
Called for my taxi when I got back to the house as I had reached my physical limit (had intended filling the dishwasher and setting it off). Showered and got back on the bed after handing over mum's parts of the shopping. Ate from my bags, did the small food order to be delivered then settled down with the list and ordered all the remaining items online. Had to compromise on some items and pay a little more for others but it means I can concentrate on going to my house (at least once a week) and use my energy on what needs doing there. It's far too hot for trailing across town (several times I've had to head for the bus/ taxi with only parts accomplished). So tired and hurting/ aching but happy (or at least quietly content). I do need to tackle my room (I'm counting it a s a win for as long as there is enough room for me to get on the bed but it needs attention).
Will have more numbers soon but feeling very groundhog day atm.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage8 -
Another epic day Mothernerd.I like how you say how bits of you queue up to hurt. The arthritic bits of me are in competition with each other. One bit calms down and another takes up the baton.
Mrs SD .My son isn't published, he has talked about publishing online but just hasn't got the brain space at the moment to pursue it. Ha,no I am not famous. My husband just happened to be a presenter on the station! It's not what you know, but who you know. I was surprised to hear myself speak . I thought I sounded like Sally Lyndsay!
Everyone is cracking on so well with tasks. Siebrie I have often fancied one of those stair baskets for things waiting to go home. Then I think that's just another piece of clutter that I don't need.
I survived the new part of my job. Having a massive clearout and reorganising the untouched for years filing cabinet was the easy bit .Mastering the IT will be a challenge. Bookings and invoice system seems soooooooooooooooooooo complicated to me. The phone answering/ calling ,not a problem.
I have brought an old aluminium Walls ice cream container home from work. I will give it some TLC and plant it up and take it back again. Mr V has drilled holes in the bottom for me and I picked up some geraniums and lobelia from Mr M's last night. I have rescued loads of pop cans from the recycling bin to put in the bottom so it doesn't use up masses of compost. Also I have to carry the thing from the carpark to work.
Good work Granny Kate,I must confess to stress eating a packet of peanuts at work yesterday!
Today I will potter in the garden, Tidy the house, pack some more boxes of stuff lying about in the kitchen. 2 cupboards left in the kitchen to empty plus a built in Victorian cupboard which contains DIY stuff and goodness knows what else. Then when the studio is dismantled we are done. Ah just remembered the cutlery drawer and 2 pan drawers. The outside plants in pots will have to be last on the list to move.

Nothing hugely exciting to report, I'm afraid! Just rounded up the usual suspects...
776-803: 27 fling boogie including 2 bags of rubbish, a cereal box of bits of paper and the usual deleted emails. Also, stuff returned to where it should live
Given I need to finish a number of assignments and a presentation, I would have thought this flat would be spotless‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

6 batteries 1074 -1079, keep getting to bed late, but this afternoon/sad thinking how grateful I should be and how I have an overabundance of things which I can give to charity -let's hope I can do it.
DD1 had a friend coming to stay and she has but the friend's mother is sadly now in intensive care with not a good outcome expected. The friend has lost her dad and best friend also in the last year and I just can't imagine what she's going through. i feel so fortunate and going to try and keep that feeling and behave like it.
Hugs and thoughts for those finding life difficult. x8
