Mea culpa, I’ve fallen off the wagon and have been cluttering.
One pair of sandals out, 2 new pairs in.
No old t-shirts out and 2 new ones in.
Now hoping that tomorrow’s planned car boot trip will be cancelled before I acquire anything else because “it’s a bargain.”
Might have another clothes sort out tomorrow to try to balance things out at bit.
And as our office is closing I appear to have removed more stationary that is strictly necessary “just in case.”All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.11 -
758-760: 1 bag rubbish, a cereal box full of bits of paper and mixed materials recycling out.
761-762: couple of items from fridge disposed of
763-772: Another 40 photos out, along with 14GB of files and the usual 200 emails. (Counted as 10 due to number of individual decisions...)
773-775: pair of rubber gloves gave up the ghost so replaced those and the 2 sponge scourers
It looks like the problem with the printer was one of those plastic thingys you get on new plugs on electric appliances: it had fallen into the bit where the paper goes and jammed the innards. Now, that's all very well, but why didn't the ruddy thing come out when I turned the printer upside down and gave it a good shake??‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher; go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉Saturday was a gloriously sunny & hot day - perfect for drying on the whirligig 🙂 so I washed our clothes & they were fully line dried 👏 DH did Thursday’s sm shop today. I also washed & waterproofed both our motorbike trousers & DH’s winter motorbike jacket. They are all 3/4 dry & I was going to leave them out overnight but DH says that the forecast has changed from sunny to rainy so I don’t want to risk them getting wet 😱 Dinner was eggs, oven chips & baked beans for DH & me with DSis having oven chips, baked beans & a shop bought mini quiche. DH wudupa. DH & I both won on the Premium Bonds - £25 & £50 respectively 🥳. Almost forgot - DH harvested 7 humongous radishes 👏
1097 - 1099 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, newspaper - recycled
1100 Kitchen detritus - binnedThat was an early start vulpix 😱 I’m usually just going to bed 😔 Your mention of MrV’s Michael Flatley impression prompts me to ask if you have seen Riverdance: The Animated Adventure? It is a lovely film & I thoroughly recommend it 🙂 If your posts are a fair reflection of your writing ability vulpix, then I believe you do have the acumen & skill to write these stories. Maybe it could be a winter project? You are going great guns on your packing 👏 Ten days of sunshine - I am soooo jealous 😉
EnergyShifter, sounds like you had a lovely day at the seaside 🙂 Perhaps you should plan a few more days out - should really help you to recharge your Life Batteries 🙂Sorry to hear work is pants, moneyonmymindsam ☹️ Hopefully no more trauma & life will be more settled. Do pop in when you can - we might only be virtual but we are here to listen & chat with a bit of decluttering & cleaning thrown in 😉😉

We are getting a load of stuff taken to the dump today. The third lot since last summer! Now we are planning on moving as soon as we find somewhere we like I am being ruthless.
I am going through our largest wardrobe today as I know there must be stuff at the top that I can't see and could get rid of. I need to bring the step stool up from downstairs to see properly.
I bought some storage boxes and I have boxed up all our CDs and books in preparation.
I have been going through my stash of toiletries for months now and it now all fits into two drawers, including makeup and toothbrushes, water flosser etc...12 -
Morning all
Gardening yesterday - I took youngest GCs to garden centre with me to give their dad a break. They were not at their best - back to school tomorrow. Sunday lunch at their house later then they will sleep with me tonight as I am doing school run in the morning. Several things on zoom this week which I need to prepare for. Spent too much at garden centre but have done most of my tubs although I still need a few more plants. I reorganised the greenhouse as well. My cleaning grid needs redoing as I have become very slack. Tomorrow I restart my diet in earnest as I have put back on half of what I lost last year.
968 - 969 Photos removed from old album of MIL - just one to keep and empty album to CS bag
970 - 976 Jigsaws rehomed x 7. I did acquire 2 new ones but these will go back when I've done them
977 Broken black tool store removed from greenhouse to make space and this will go to tip this morning
978 - 979 Surplus garden pots and broken seed trays
980 - cards posted
981 Empty weedkiller pot
982 Garden pots and tubs refilled - bulbs to dry off for replanting next year
983 Horse show numbers left behind by GD1 (needed for today) posted to her - guaranteed delivery yesterday undoubtedly cost more that the numbers did originally. I have some things of GD2s as well which she left behind.
I need to get rid of a few more things if I'm going to reach the half way target by 30 June.2025 Decluttering Campaign 635/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Mrs SD,Thank you. I was talking to someone yesterday who is a historian, about the bouncing bomb from the second world war. They practised on a reservoir nearby. I would like to include that in my story so I would need to do a lot of research to get it all right. Thank you for the film recommendation,I will have a look when life settles down a bit. if I need a laugh I watch the riverdancing chimps on youtube.
sam, sorry to hear life is pants at the moment. I always comfort myself with the thought that nothing stays the same and change will come.xxx I have missed your posts.
3second memory, your cat is a little beauty.xx
Work was pleasant. Much calmer, thank goodness. Just the usual amount of customers, not overwhelmed like last week. We have a day off today but not a day of rest. We have to dismantle the studio, including the furniture and fetch everything down stairs. Gulp. There is a massive amount of wooden library shelving to bring down too. I am going to get Mr V to make hard decisions about all his folding clothes which are on the top of his chest of drawers, waiting! I also want to list some things on FB to sell. I bought some little oak drawers last night from FB,a future project. I also want to take my sentry box to the new house and a few more garden things that don't need watering and can fend for themselves. Well that takes up to lunch time. Hahahahaha.
341. large mirror sold

No pounds lost. Grannykate,I need to join you on the diet. 3 weeks till my sons wedding.
