Mrs SD, I'm not that impressed with the Home Edit, - everything is colour codes, so cornflakes, orange squash and sweetcorn could be together. Not alot for me over the last couple of days
I think 113 bag dropped at CS
114 dried up highlighter
115 more old revision notes, I've taken pages out of some exercise books as pages can be reused (very MSE)
116 electronic declutter etc
117 admin tasks
Not getting anywhere with early night and lbs decluttered but some areas have stayed tidy. I'm sure there were other items but can't remember them. Vulpix .. so impressed by your downsizing. I'd given myself 2 years to get in position to downsize but think I will need longer,

This is a baptism of fire. The house is a complete tip. I have got rid of most of the furniture so all our worldly goods are on display. Just the sitting room and the small spare room are tidy, I even have banana boxes in the bathroom.
Having an imminent deadline is good for me ,I was always one for working up to the wire writing essays.
Mr V has volunteered to do lots of overtime but I could do with him here. He's not as green as he's cabbage looking!
I will crack on with packing tomorrow and in the evening we have a retirement do to go to.
I will update numbers tomorrow. My aim was 365 items in the year,I think I could revise that to 730,2 items per day.

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. ONCE A WEEK LEAVE THE HOUSE (e.g. Go into city centre for bank & butcher; go to local town for cs dropping off or buying; visit the pub with DH 😉I did toddle off to town 🙂 & the weather improved - dry with lots of sunshine & reasonably warm 🥳 Went into bank to deposit Premium Bonds winning cheques & my raffle winning cheque 🙂 Had a long, pleasant chat with the cashier starting with the cheques & moving onto all things Covid. She had to cancel her 2nd jab as management wouldn’t let her swap her shift 😖 She was also accosted by a Covidiot - who insulted her (you know the sort - there is no such thing as Covid, just a government plot to control us all etc 😖) as she was walking down the street 😡. However we were both agreed that wearing masks & having the vaccines was the only way forward. We only curtailed our conversation when another customer appeared 🙂 Decided to get off one stop earlier on the DLR & walk to Chinese Medical Centre to book an acupuncture & medical massage session - first one since February 2020 😱☹️ Walked in & no medical centre now a security office 😭 Rather sad 😢 but not really that surprised. Popped into the post office to get a few stamps. Then bus home. Sent off an email re the Chinese MC - not hopeful of a reply but you never know 😉
Phoned my cousin & had a good old chinwag & caught up on all the family news 🙂 Weather permitting we have been invited to her son’s 21st birthday party on Saturday. Really, really looking forward to it 🙂 even if this time around it will be hug free ☹️The Harley passed it’s MOT with flying colours 👏 & the computer test confirmed it was a sensor that is kaput rather than the water pump - cheap repair rather than expensive 👏👏🥳
DH ordered fish’n’chips for DSis, mixed kebab meat for himself & I had lo cheesy pasta.1055 - 1058 Kitchen recycling, office recycling, drinks cans, glass jar & plastic lid - recycled
1059 - 1060 Kitchen detritus, lr detritus - binned
Sorry vulpix I forgot to mention the stag - what a wonderful sight it must have been ☺️Great work bit_by_bit 👏 Hope the weather brightened up enough for a visit to the allotment 🤞
Excellent work Happy_Kitties 👏 Good news about the photos 🙂 300 is in sight 🥳
You are welcome villagelife 🙂 What a lovely housewarming present 😇
That is enough to be going on with boultdj 😉
You have robbed yourself TC77 😱 You are on 1017 👏 not 117 🤭
vulpix, I love that MrV thinks he is being crafty 😂 Hopefully you can persuade him to do half the overtime & the rest of the time pitching in with you 😉😉 Hope you have a wonderful time at the retirement do 🙂MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Decluttering Target: 2021 1060/20212021 Savings Pot: £114.80 to end of MayBe Kind. Terrible day yesterday but I did manage to link with a community craft group in Town who are coming to peruse a large amount of unused stationary and some really good items that could be sold or used in their shop in town. She, in turn, has an idea who could make use of lots of plant pots.
I sorted several bills and emails then at about 4 o’clock, decided to have a nap. I woke up at midnight and felt really bad because I’d left my 2 little heathens outside since I went to Town after lunch. They are not impressed with me anyway, having seen the state of the sitting room. My new sofa has arrived and is in two huge boxes but I’ve been let down on the carpet cleaning. It might not be till next Thursday now.At least it’s a beautiful sunny morning. It’s recycling today so I hope to fill my white bag with branches et cetera. Hopefully I can get some planting out done as well9 -
Uuurrghh! Have to remove a tick from the blasted cat! Get it out of my house!8

Not much action here. Dining room covered in cars, railway etc but I may as well leave it all out as GS4 is here again tomorrow after school. Spoke too soon about loo as it only worked properly until yesterday and then went wrong again. They are coming tomorrow to look at it and my water pump. I hope it doesn't rain all day today.2025 Decluttering Campaign 635/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

2 books into charity bag. Both brand new but I know I will never read them.
1 jar chutney over to OH for him to try it first. HM by a rellie. The label says spicy apple, but there seem to be tomato pips in it - I know she makes green tomato chutney as well and tomatoes set my arthritis off so I can't eat them.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅10
