Hi
Whilst the guy was here this morning taking the photos for the Estate Agent, the office phoned and booked two viewings ,one Saturday ,one Sunday.
The Estate Agent wanted the paperwork for our extension. Our office is a pepper box from Lidl, whilst I had it out I had a good cull of old statements and instruction books for things which died ages ago. Some could go in recycling ,the rest (carrier bag full)I will take to Step Son's tomorrow and burn in his garden burning bin.
I will be out all day tomorrow so no chance to make a mess in the house. I must find time to take the blanket I have knitted to my Nephews. Great niece born this morning. They have named her after my SIL who sadly died last year.

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. CLEAN ONE ROOM (TOP TO BOTTOM) EVERY MONTH (hopefully 3 weekly by the end of the year)Thursday was another sunny day in the morning, clouding over early afternoon but oh so cold out of the sun & when the breeze blew 🥶 DH left at 6:30 a.m. & headed off to Harrogate - was out 13 hours but did find his grandfather’s grave stone & took photos of several of his Round Britain Rally landmarks 👏 Didn’t get rained on but was oh so cold when he got home. I spent the day watching TV & cooking - on e hm soup (yet to be zizzed & tasted) - but using several bits out of the freezer + slow cooked a lump of brisket (in the oven) - 5 hours in all. It was melt in the mouth delicious with mash & broccoli florets (from freezer). I also did a bit of paperwork, emptied the shredder & did the ‘tidying up during the adverts’ including washing up as I went along.DH did the wudupa 👏 if I was a more suspicious person I might think he had done something wrong 😉😉 but instead I know that he is just spoiling me 🙂794 - 798 Kitchen recycling, plastic bottle, cardboard box, magazine, drinks cans - recycling
799 Kitchen detritus - binnedFriday is currently clear blue skies, sunshine but still no real warmth ☹️ The builder turned up at 8:30 a.m. as promised 🙂 but still no skip 😖. The section of wall that runs across our back garden is mostly down - just a few courses remaining. Our neighbour MrJ is providing the hot drinks & I am providing the chocolate biscuits 🙂 As there is no skip yet, our services as labourers has not started yet ☹️ Still no skip ☹️Now into cheerleading 😉Sounds like you are having a lovely time GrannyKate 👏 & still finding time to declutter 👏 You will miss the grandchildren when they are gone 😉Sorry you are feeling so tired moneyonmymindsam ☹️ Honestly, I would forget the decluttering & would just treat yourself to a bit of TLC 🙂 Busy again but very pleased that you are taking a bit of time for yourself 🙂
You are going to have to have to rename yourself EnergyShifter 😉 How minimalist do you intend to go? Well done on the decluttering 👏 Your wheelie bin obviously thought you were working it too hard 😉😉 I hope your mystery requests for money are just the companies making a mistake & not a sign of something more sinister 🤞
Great work ruby_eskimo 👏 another one who might have to rename themselves 😉Good work Gem-gem 👏 seems a bit drastic to break things to declutter 😉Well done on taking care of yourself mothernerd 👏 one medal 🏅 coming your way 👏 I hope everyone else is paying attention 😉 a bit of TLC works wonders - after all we are decluttering to make life easier & more pleasant not to put ourselves into an early grave & ruin our health 🙂
You have still been busy though mothernerd 👏Things are definitely moving quickly vulpix 🙂 Photos taken, 2 viewings booked & the estate agent seems to be on the ball 👏 Well done on sorting more paperwork & how satisfying that you will be able to burn it 😉 Congratulations on the birth of your great niece & how lovely that she has been named after your SIL 🙂 DH’s side of the family will be providing 2 more great great nephews 🙂 - although I must admit I was hoping for at least one great great niece 😔See you later 👋MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅 ⭐️⭐️⭐️Decluttering Target: 2021 799/20212021 Savings Pot: £41.00 to end of MarchBe Kind. Just popped back in to say skip still HAS NOT turned up 😡
Plus need to report the failure of my olives - brined for SIX months & still not soft enough 😭 So I have admitted defeat & they have been drained & binned 😭
However a mini success in the garden - the 2 clematis plants by the now non existent wall have
been dug up & put in a pot. One should survive but the other one will probably not survive. They were planted 20 years ago so have given sterling service even though they didn’t receive any TLC 😉
Plus another bit of good news - window cleaner & his wife turned up 👏 only trouble is I now have to clean the inside of the windows 😞

I am now free until Monday morning
I do have to set up some work stuff but I can do that Sunday night or early Monday morning.
Am going to walk the dogs in the fields hate doing it but means they will sleep from 6pm to 6am so I will get some peace.
Microwave meal for tea and no treats in the house as they have been given away or decluttered to visiting small people!
Might go to the corner shop on the way back from dog walk for a bag of aero bubbles or malteasers. Will have to hide them from plus one as he is a midnight eater and they will be gone when I fancy them.
Off to spoil myself with a coffee before wellies and field.

Wow - so many posts and so much getting done, I am put to shame!! Well done folks, having a catch-up read here has spurred me on to plan next attack on my clutter.Actually, I have been getting stuff done since my last post - I`ve had the estimate from logburner firm, (pleasantly surprised too - it`s a LOT - but less than I had expected) - went town for a few necessities and to to bank to transfer funds on Wednesday, went to heating store Thursday to do deposit and book installation date (1st week in July, they are fully booked till then!) and today have done some freezer tetris and a full grocery shop. I prefer to go midweek when it`s quieter but needs must, should be ok now with just a little top-up next week.Yesterday I cooked James Martin`s Welsh Rarebit (gorgeous!) because I had a big block of cheddar that needed using and a tiger loaf going stale. Mine was with ham, OH had ham and prawns on his, under the rarebit. Had to buy a bottle of beer for the recipe, so today I`ve thawed quite a bit of braising steak to use up the rest of the beer as the menfolk didn`t want to finish it!! That`ll be 2 days worth, today`s with buttery mashed spuds with fresh horseradish grated in at the end of cooking, and some frozen Yorkshire puds, and I might do dumplings or a pie for day 2.So I`ve effectively decluttered some freezer space, and don`t need to go anywhere for a few days except for walking the dog!I`m going to concentrate on clothes sorting, and probably some washing/line drying winter stuff to put away, as well as a general upstairs tidy (letter from SSE said they`d need to check the boiler) and hopefully sort more stuff in spare room of Doom. That is going to be enough to keep me occupied till 21st (smart meter day) and after that I`ll tackle emptying and sorting the Welsh dresser contents.I`m hoping to avoid the need to `speed-tidy` because that too often makes more work in the long run.9

Congrats to @vulpix
I am in the out of sight, out of mind phase as @Emm-in-a-pickle kindly reminded this will no doubt lead to a bigger job later on.
Offered a few people round to mums to take what they need/want FOC so hopefully this will see a few bits go. We will donate some, sell some and then house clearance the rest.
Hoping the local to there recycling centre opens again soon so that I can clear a bit each time I go.
Think we have at least 4 more trips up there. I need to plan each one carefully so that we achieve what we need and not sit about eating chips and enjoying the area like it was a holiday!
Hangs head a little as no decluttering done but rubbish out and recharging batteries.
