Well cleaning will need to happen once I have decluttered small people but we have had a fun 4 days even if rather noisy and messy. New computer delivered to doorstep by driver who legged it before I could ask him to lift it over porch step. Children and I eventually got it in and slid it along to dining room. Will leave DS2 to unpack and sort at weekend. Old one is definitely in its last days. Heavy frost this morning here. Washing and dishwasher on whilst they are still asleep. Chafer bug killer arrived for grass so that's a job for weekend.
742-743 Front and back lawns cut and grass into garden bin for collection today
744 - de-headed daffodils with help ( a few live ones got GS4's attention as well)
745 - repotted some seedlings - not going very well at the moment
746 - pulled rhubarb and took some to neighbour
747- 749 - jigsaws re-homed after doing them again with children this week (I did borrow 2 more but they will go back)
750 - random paper from desk recycled.

Morning everyone,
Woken up feeling like an old cripple and only thinking about what needs to be done rather than doing. (sorry probably not a politically correct way to describe myself)
Unfortunately I was so tired /drained yesterday, I fell asleep in my mascara so that has done me no favours waking up with black dead spiders for eyes.
hope to do some decluttering later woo hoo.
Have a good day where ever you are.

Moneyonmymind: Sorry you feel so rough. It's effortful & tiring enough starting a new job at the best of times let alone when you're not feeling at your best. Can you just do what's essential and rest up whenever you can? Resting is recharging your batteries (I have to remind myself of this too) x

Morning all. Have successfully decluttered the laundry basket today 😆 Think we've finally got on top of things to the point where I can get away with doing a couple of loads a week rather than a load every day and feeling like the pile wasn't going down! Feeling a little overwhelmed at the prospect of trying to sort through the clothes and edit it down but since I've realised that I wear the same things over and over again, I really think I can be a little ruthless. Just need to get up the courage to start. Think I'll join you in your watching of the minimalist film @EnergyShifter for some inspiration!

Yesterday was a quiet relaxing day. My leg hurt from my foot all the way up to my hip so stayed on the bed (not in it), did lots of flexing my foot, wiggling my toes, making a fist and stretching my fingers to keep things moving without putting any weight onto the damaged bits. Changed my position about every 15 minutes. In the afternoon I listened to music and did a little hand jive and bounce a bit dancing (still on the bed). I was coughing again so stayed away from mum but listed about six easy options for food that she could get for herself (foot was hurting all the time I was brushing my teeth so didn't rely on having to cook anything (did myself breaded mushrooms in the oven with a huge green salad, hm rice salad and used the remnants of a dip for dressing). Found my hayfever tablets as sore throat could be pollen grains irritating me.
Very lazy day and felt absolutely blissful. Drawer with tablets had some of my favourite handcream in (bought in a low spend bundle when my mood was really low) so brought that back to the bed and used it on my hands and feet (wrapped them in a small towel so I didn't spoil my clean sheets). Was managing much better by the end of the day and because of the resting I didn't need to take more painkillers. Still taking things slowly.
Took mum for her second jab today but toddled down to the shed earlier and gathered up all the charity shop things stored there. Three bags and there will probably be another bag of books to go (need to clear the floor a bit more to get to all the books easily). I have decided to have a serious cull of the jigsaws. They were originally bought to keep mum occupied and using her hands and eyes. I did enjoy doing them but I think there are some I would be happy to do several times and some I'd rather not.
Originally planned to go into town today but will leave it until next week (whenever I can walk comfortably) and work on checking and bagging more jigsaws and books. There's one thing still in the shed but mum said there were more bits to it (if I can't find them it's going in the bin). Will also work on completing some embroidery wip and parcel those up and send them off and also want to tackle paperwork again. Well I don't really want to but I do want it cut down to size.
Rubbish from my room went into the big bin for collection, brought the bag back and have filled it again, ditto with paper bag. Emptied a bag earlier, found a hook so went and screwed it in place in the cupboard. When I was doing the shed I put all the seed trays and covers together, binned a broken potato bag and two dried out paint brushes, All the remaining painting stuff is together in one bag (there may be more - one roller was too far across and down for me to get it and wasn't going to pull everything out). Will pull everything out but that is probably a whole day's project - especially if I get sidetracked into putting the new polytunnel together and the metal raised bed (bought last autumn and made a start but mum wanted everything 'tidy' ie where she couldn't see it, so I packed the very small shed up to the rafters). By the end I was posting things in at the top and letting them find their own space.
Awarding myself 6 points for today,
