Afternoon all, its not a bad day here.
Breakfast was a jam doughnut, lunch will be a croissant. Can you tell I've been shopping
Out today huge make up case and some old tat that was knocking about in the bottom of it.
Getting there

I forgot to do my count up earlier this week, that brought me to 129.
Since then the garage detritus is now another 10 bags for the bin men on Monday, 1 broken plastic box, something (called something as I have no idea what it is) from the loft sold on Ebay for £25, a wicker vase sold on FB for £12, item returned to Argos. This brings me to 143 items.
I am now decluttered from my job, I had a few tears at some of the emails and messages I received so thank goodness I was not in the office as I would have blubbered for definite. I decluttered 1623 emails, documents and presentations, there was no need to as computer will be rebuilt, but it felt cathartic.
Have a good weekend all
All the best

1 item off the jobs list - it's only been there since October and it feels great to have finally done it
14 items of paperwork
1 other item
Another half hour of friend's paperwork. Not so much gone over the last two sessions with her (this is all done by phone) but anything gone is progress and we're doing really well overall.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅9 -
A little more decluttering;
468-469 2 bags of weeding, old leaves and twigs - brown bin now full for collection on Thursday
470-472 3 parcels collected
473 - MIL's sewing box sorted but need to decide what to do with contents - at least 40 packets of sewing needles mostly unopened
474-475 - 2 old boxes from loft containing most of my school work from 1953 to 1967! The paper was crumbly and has made me itch. Kept back a very few odd things the rest will go to recycling at tip tomorrow. Things like this are hard to sort but think its better for me to do it than leave my children to have a guilt trip about throwing it away later.2025 Decluttering Campaign 635/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Gilly, clearing your work emails etc is all part of the process of putting it behind you. By doing it yourself you have literally put it all in the bin as you no longer need it.
I have decluttered the cat of at least half a cat of spare fur - she has been brushed, rough-stroked forwards & backwards, brushed again and then smooth stroked, all outside on the patio so the local birds can have fur lined nests!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Nothing to count but have spent nearly 3 hours outside, shifting stones and then doing the final bit of painting on the pieces of raised bed (for most it was a case of putting a second coat on the fourth side). I haven't finished (perhaps half a dozen long pieces and a dozen short ones) but really can't make myself go back out there. Tea was chicken with leeks, wrinkly peppers and celery (all chopped up last night) in a white sauce with pasta - was really hungry and it was simple enough to throw everything in 2 pans whilst doing as many more slats as I could manage. I only had to check on it twice, once to turn the pans down to a simmer and then just before the end. Cleaned all the shower screens this morning plus some of the neglected bits I spotted yesterday. Have scrubbed my hands, then had to scrub the sink. I'm going to eat the last bit of a tub of ice cream and wait for the ibuprofen to kick in - have a lovely cushion tucked firmly into the small of my back.
I do have something to count - started another outside bin bag and put things in as I found them (pulled the bins out one by one and stood the painted slats against the fence - painted the same colour so no marks). Put each bin back as I used that section of fence, then a board on top of two bins to stand the small slats against the fence (most of the earlier small bits are on a huge 'builder's bag' - the sort they deliver topsoil and building materials in).My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage10 -

Hello all, have been MIA for a while as had a reaction to my jab, gave me a sort of flu for a week. Should have expected it, I have the same thing with the normal flu one too. Anyway nothing much decluttered except daily detritus and some more lbs in weight, another plus from the jabAs it was a lovely sunny day here today I cut back some dead wood from 2 peiris trees, should be compact plants but they don't seem to understand that concept ! Also swept up all the leaves from the patio and half a green waste bin has been filled.Decluttered half of a pressure washer, the other half needs to be kept for parts apparently ( not if I have anything to say about it though !) However I did manage to pry quite a bit of metalwork and our old car battery from DH's hands, all of which are awaiting a scrappy man. I now look forward to hearing his call coming down the street
Hopefully it's dry again tomorrow as I'm sure there is more rubbish to go from the garden and I've got the energy to do it.
Hope everyone is well, hugs if not.nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11 -
Sorry to hear that nannywindow glad you are on the mend.
Have an awful cluster type headache so very little done today, despite big plans.
Another few bits of very old make up type stuff to the bin things like those foamy things that go between toes - must make a conscious effort to keep the bits going out.
Everyone is in bed and it's not quite 8pm, so there shall be no more decluttering /cleaning done today.
