@D123456789 the walk sounds lovely minus the mud
and don't be too hard on yourself re: cleaning I find what needs to be done always gets done eventually. I don't wash my walls and the prospect of such a task makes me wince in horror.
Nice to enjoy a bit of time off while you have the opportunity, so I hope you will pencil in a bit of "you" time this week.
Never forget you are doing a fab job with keeping house, working, bringing up LO and everything life throws at you in between!

Wellies arrived and feel that they are just OK so may have to get a new old pair but it's a rigmarole so will think on it.
5 bits out let's call them beauty bits lol,
no big dent just a small handful of tut.
Quick and easy egg and sausage baps, followed by YS trifle for tea as all chickened out.

Hiya, I had my vaccination this morning. Oxford one,no side effects so far.
I spent all day in the garden yesterday. I missed the end of year tidy last year as I had an operation then it rained solidly for months! Green bin is full. Another 1/3 of garden to do. Have done nothing today other than watch telly and crochet.
106. 5 pairs of socks Mr V doesn't like. ( got days of the week on them, he is 64)

Not much cleaning today. Made 4 portions of mince and vegetables to freeze. Went to tip with DS2 and we had to queue 30 minutes to get in. We also got some led lights for my bathroom redecoration project. Boxes a bit damaged but contents intact. 2 sets were £10 instead of £80 - a bargain.
476 Collected up another bag of mostly leaves from garden
477 Large swede starting to go soft so used some in mince and veg above and boiled and mashed the rest. 3 small pots of swede mash in freezer
478 Posted off some of the fine needles from MIL's workbox to my brother who makes miniature textiles for his doll's house.

Yesterday I finished painting the wooden raised bed pieces, gave all the recycled plastic pieces a good wash in preparation for painting, filled 2 more buckets with stones (more like three because I added more to each bucket when they were in their designated spot), more soil shifted (sifting soil and stones) and dug out enough to get out one of the edging pieces (about 2' long and 6" x 9"), only just possible to move them and added 3 more (the first was the hardest, it was 6" off the ground and still clinging on to the ones either side). Will need to dig out more soil from behind before I can get the corner piece out and there are two more at the end but was completely done in.
More little bits of tidying this morning (was looking for a foil of tablets from the last batch - 2 types found, 2 from the new batch already in use and was sure there was one left of the 5th tablet). Found it but found more threads (3 full ones added to box, lots of little bits discarded and a few small items which could be put with similar items) and a few trips to the bins (have managed to get one of the 'extra' bin bags in the black bin as well as the kitchen bin bag, may squeeze a bit more in yet).
This morning was spent on decluttering 2 of mum's appointments (audiology and podiatry) so adding some basic maintenance tasks to mum's schedule - will stop her planning every minute of my day and then tell me I'm doing things wrong (shouldn't wear my 'best' wellies for painting - they are the only ones I've got, the old ones leaked for 5 years before I could replace them and I've worn out both mum's old ones and the ones that used to be her partner's). Is there some social occasion where the wearing of 'best' wellies is necessary - mine are for gardening and painting and nipping outside when I get to the door and have nothing on my feet?
Both very tired and weary when we got back from the infirmary. Stripped off, put all our clothes in the washer, made food from leftovers. Pegged the washing out. Read and rested for a while (avoided a nap as I want to get my sleeping pattern back to how it should be) then sat in the front room embroidering and watching 'Unforgotten'. Used cooked pasta, cauli, broccoli, carrots, celery, sauce from Saturday (leek, celery, peppers and bits of chicken one) and the remainder of the chicken stock in a 'pasta bake/ cauli cheese mash up (put grated cheese on top). Made similar for mum but with a tomatoey sauce and more cheese). Walked to the post box with 5 cards, washing in, locked up, back on the bed and will be asleep soon. Try to have a quiet reading and puzzling hour or two after turning the laptop off and before sleeping. Will decide on a number tomorrow.

323: Pair of leggings repaired.
324-326: rubbish, paper and mixed materials recycling all out

Evening all,
Decided a Pair of slip-ons I've never worn can go into the recycling/charity bag - may end up in the car with the other pairs!
Usual rubbish/recycling out - plus one has the tiniest bin known to man but I guess this is also encouraging more recycling, so not a bad thing.
Just put a tiny bit of hair dye on my visable roots and that's that plus packaging decluttered too.
I still have to do more of mum's paperwork case but I think I shall hold off until things are more settled. I very much doubt I shall need any of it but s*ds law and all that.
Completely forgotten where I've put my birth certificate, so will attempt to find it tomorrow and put with passport and other bits.
Decluttered half a YS family sized trifle whilst waiting for the hair dye to take 😂
Will try again tomorrow to see what can be decluttered.
