Hi, a very productive day here, Bed tetris completed. Stuff put in the loft. Out, a king size bed and a huge set of Victorian drawers. My landing looks massive without it.
I have had to rehome stuff. Our new bed has storage so all gift wrapping paraphernalia in one drawer so it won't be too heavy. Clothes and textiles shuffled about so like is with like.
At the end of the month we plan to finish the construction of a studio in the loft. We have all the components but it will need a couple of days to set up. I will then have a tidy up there. It is a possibility that Ds's stuff will go this year. Boxes and some furniture. I have been storing it for about 5 years. he lived in Canada for a couple of years then has lived in small flats ever since. He phoned earlier to say they would now be able to buy a place with 95% mortgage. DD2 should be moving to a bigger place this year too. There are plenty of boxes of Sylvanian families in the loft which will go . It will echo up there.
I do try to keep like with like , It helps me enormously . We do have several places Mr V shoves stuff when I ask him to move things he leaves lying about... usually wires!

Not been very good at keeping up with all your efforts (or really my own to be fair! 🤣) but I’ve cleared 13 items of clothing out. It would have been more but I decided to keep a lot of DS2’s clothes for my friend’s LO so not going anywhere just yet. Not much else going on but I’ll keep doing bits here and there! 163/730

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. CLEAN ONE ROOM (TOP TO BOTTOM) EVERY MONTH (hopefully 3 weekly by the end of the year)Wednesday was overcast, cold & wet. We have completed the 2021 Census Form online. I finally received my invite for Covid19 jab - decided to keep the ones I have already booked 😉 DH’s new phone arrived, all set up up before he went out (in the dry 🙂) & picked up some more compost & also popped into sm for a few bits poor DH came back in (the pouring rain ☹️) He was absolutely soaked ☹️ I did thin the soup with a mug of beef stock - it is now liquid soup rather than solid soup 😉😉 It was absolutely delicious 😋 especially with some nice crusty bread 🙂
Dinner was bolognese sauce with conchiglione pasta. One of my better ones - so tasty in fact that DSis was so busy eating that she forgot to take her pills 😉 so had to have a second helping 🙄

Half an hour doing friend's paperwork with her - more recycled and shredded. I have plenty here to keep us going until we're allowed to travel again and I can go and fetch more.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅10 -
Just popping in to say hello. The thread is busy as usual. Nothing has really left the house apart from the weekly bin liner of rubbish. I have been given some rusty tools to clean and give away and some CDs and DVDs for the CS but they will be going out asap.
I have been working or on the allotment, sleeping in between time. Work very busy (for me) as numbers of covid patients fall and surgeries are starting to be done. I have been on my own a fair bit too as the others have been on annual leave or relocated to more urgent care areas.
Counting down to retirement now. less than three weeks and only 7 workdays left. Yay.

Vulpix, maybe you know this already, but my DD informed me that Sylvanian families are worth cash, should you want to sell them,
especially the early ones. She had asked me hopefully as she had collected their stuff for years and sadly I replied that they had all been given to the school charity fair!
TH had second vaccine today so we are having a quiet afternoon indoors.
Keep safe everyone.10
