Top work Mrs SD and team. I love that sort of work, satisfying and tiring.
I have no reason to be here, no decluttering and no cleaning achieved today. Tomorrows another day.

Golly @Mrs_Salad_Dodger I think you get a medal for that hard work as well as a well deserved takeaway. 🏅 That's a lot of brick stacking.

Thanks gettingthrifty 👏 Insurance companies bring the loathing & bad press on themselves 🙄 They obviously thought you should catch the finial before it hit the window 😉😉 🤔
What a nightmare TC77 😱😤. The problem is that although you probably got cash for the repairs, there is no amount of money that can give you back 2 years of your life which had been filled with stress, sleepless nights & aggravation 😤 DH & I have a great partnership - I get angry & stressed, he gets on with it 😉
-taff, thank you for reminding me about A Slob Comes Clean 👏 I read quite a bit of the ‘free’ version of her blog in 2019 🙂 she is very relatable 🙂GrannyKate, the duplicate pages were obviously the important pages 😉😉 or at least the ‘Fairies in the Bookshelves’ thought so 😉😉Great work jacwins 👏 too busy to post - I like that 😉That is eventful gilly1964 🙂 I hope you & your colleagues will be OK 🤞How do you feel about your redundancy, especially after 34 years? I suppose the silver lining is that you will have time to help your hubby continue with the decluttering - only joking 🙃🙃🙃
Great work Happy_Kitties 👏Excellent work tryingtoavoiddebt 👏 You have earned another Gold Star ⭐️You have been busy GrannyKate 👏 The collection of cookery books sounds wonderful & having the space to keep them without having to cull immediately must be a marvellous feeling 🙂 Once you have made your first successful loaf of bread you will never go back to shop bought 😉 Being a descendant of so many bakers, baking is in your genes 😉🤞Good luck 🤞Excellent work moneyonmymindsam 👏 I especially like the bartering for teabags 👏🙂Excellent work Frogletina 👏 you have been busy. Shame about the missing buttons ☹️ If you are anything like me I need to actually see buttons before I buy 🙂 Hopefully charity shops will open soon & there will be bags of buttons that people have decluttered 🤞You have every reason to be here vulpix 🙂 we all love a bit of praise for our efforts 👏🙂 and there you go - you did do some decluttering - bunny cushions & packaging completely out of the house 👏 The Rabbit Sanctuary are lucky to have you as a donor 😇
Thank you for the medal 🏅 Viking_mfw 👏 Hopefully physical labour & fresh air will mean that we all sleep well tonight 🤞
Thank you for the compliment TC77 👏 I imagine that you are working longer as you are not commuting 😉 Steady progress on the decluttering & at least you have started various tasks 👏 unlike me 😉MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅 ⭐️⭐️Decluttering Target: 2021 377/2021Savings Pot:Be Kind. Not likely to be much cleaning etc for a couple of days as I have small people for 2 days now. Just off to collect them - full of energy I understand. I culled a few books yesterday - half to charity to shop and I have packed some more up to be collected by WBB (mostly non fiction I got for various history courses I have done) - not sold any like this before so will see how it goes. I've also done quite a lot of surveys again - it fills the time.

@Grannykate well done on the book sales.
Someone has passed me a magazine this morning, I shall have to browse it and pass it on else it shall sit here for an age. I have wiped it down and sanitised the cover and shall do so again before I pass it on.
Gloves I brought online are awful material so that will teach me to buy online, anyway they will do for now and will keep as a spare.
I have a nice chunk of 3bay sales money that is burning a hole in my pocket. I did think about premium bonds or upgrading something. Will declutter a bit and see what comes to light.
Plan to make bananna muffins and do a load of mash for the freezer as those are both needing to be used up.
Back later to report if I do any proper decluttering!

10 items out yesterday, giving me a current total of 456/ 2021.
Over the past 2 days (sorry some of this I've told you, some I'd forgotten, but mostly just ongoing - with hopefully a big clear up of craft/ embroidery in the next few days) I have:
1) Redone the paper bin and put another 5 bag loads in (if I can find a large clean stone to squash it down a bit, more will go in)
2) Cleaned the mask (daily job), hose (weekly job) and changed the filters (monthly) on my CPAP machine (white filter gets thrown away each month - very grey from all the stuff it has caught, larger dark grey foam filter gets washed and reused)
3) Emptied 6 bags of assorted stuff collected in the bedroom (only counting 5 as still a few bits to be put away/ reunited with similar items) and the remains of 3 bags of food into 1 bag. I spent a lot of time moving food yesterday. There is very little room in the kitchen cupboards - full of all the bowls and dishes I wanted mum to whittle down before she moved here 5 years ago, so cans, dry goods etc are stored elsewhere and I restock the kitchen as things are used.
4) Watered my seedlings, harvested the pea shoots, turned the trays round and made a little more space. Started to line up storage cubes on top of the drawers, sorting contents as I went. Cleaned a large 'plank' of bathroom cladding to put across the cubes to hold a second row of seedlings. brought in the 5 large and 6 medium mushroom boxes I had filled with compost. Rounded up the ones emptied since and took them down to the bottom of the yard to fill with coir compost (got very wet doing all that). Bin went out for collection (squeezed a few more bits in)
5) Made up the final batch of marinated chicken (using more leftover veg), got a pack of wraps from the freezer to use up the remaining ham, have been eating ood yoghurts and cheese and biscuits from the festive supply (could only get a delivery over a week before 'the day' and festive food was only available for delivery for a short period but could have a delivery on 29th Dec so included festive bits we had 'missed' (had some hm goodies and ordered frozen desserts in advance) so we still have 'goodies' tucked away in odd corners, particularly long dated items.
6) My eyes still feel sore and tired so I've switched back to doing 'easy sewing' - less eye strain and uses up materials quicker. I am also trying to cut down on screen time.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage8 -
GIVE PRAISE WHERE PRAISE IS DUE
Can I just say that @Mrs_Salad_Dodger does an excellent job here at acknowledging every person who posts.... and she deserves a thank you.
We all battle our own demons... even if they present themselves as 10 black bin bags full of clutter or a few recycled magazines. It's all about our our own journeys and each and every person who overcomes something that has become an issue to them.... and posted that achievement here deserves praise.
I recently removed all of my achievements from here because of one negative observation! But on hindsight.... maybe I shouldn't have allowed that one person to affect me.....
So although what we ALL post has no relevance to anyone else.... it is still valid and I for one thank Mrs SD for all her efforts in keeping up people's morale and motivation.
WELL DONE Mrs SD

"I recently removed all of my achievements from here because of one negative observation! But on hindsight.... maybe I shouldn't have allowed that one person to affect me" .
Think this was taken out of context as whoever commented was not about your achievements but the Web pics you posted as not everyone has fast broadband and takes an age to load was all.
Nothing was meant will ill intent, I'm sure.
