Some excellent work going on - anything out is still something out.
2 fleabay sales have left the building plus a box to music magpie which contained 36 items...
This brings me to 47/49 for my Feb challenge! Which feels a bit too easy to be honest... however, if I fly by 49, so be it.
I feel like there's a lot more stuff hanging around to go and I need to make the most of this last month of mat leave before I go back to trying to juggle all the things.

Oh no, what a palava Mrs SD with all the drama but good he got the shredding done
It is definitely a few years worth of layers as it was hidden behind a blind xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x9 -
So more ebay posting =4 out today 2 items plus 2 recycled packaging.
I have found another 4 pairs footwear for charity/recycling Bank.
I have 3 hats and 3 pairs gloves, pair jeans, 4 jumpers and a belt going to relative at their request although I shall pay for post.
Tested all the light bulbs today only one was put so good to know have a supply and note to self not to buy anymore (!)
Made cake in a mug and ate it let's just call that brunch 😂 and sausage, YS eggs and HM chips for tea.
It's so cold and my electric blanket has died so I have just gone ahead and got a new one from argos today. We have no heating atm so I need something else as it's just really miserable. Getting by but would not be my choice to not have a basic like that.
Ordered a free hippo for a relatives child (not free had to pay post) that came with the blanket.
I'm hoping lockdown will end soon (ha ha) so that I can travel the hundreds of miles to put mums house on the market. I have estimated there are only 60 items to be cleared so a fairly small job and I have the person ready when I'm ready.
No luck on jobs front but will put a lot more effort in from tomorrow as I've just pottered about today.
Digital email clutter - I'm potentially not going to bother to look at it (?) I'm just going to archive or delete it I think...Should I have won 6 million Nigerian dollars that I did not claim, I shall only have myself to blame 😂 💵.

Sam, my electric blanket is one thing I couldn't do without in winter! Definitely one to replace immediately if it breaks.
Kitchen has been tidied and I have invested in some airtight containers for rice etc, meaning I now have neatly stacked boxes as opposed to bags of rice on the floor! Not strictly decluttering, but it certainly makes the kitchen look less cluttered.
We have also rearranged the office room which now looks much bigger, but also provides the kitty with a platform to look out the window without having to sit on my laptop! But alas, she is a cat, and will likely continue to sit on my laptop anyway.
It's very inspiring seeing how much everyone is doing, especially people posting before and afters.12 -

1. KITCHEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT2. JUST DO ONE THING EVERY DAY (courtesy of bit_by_bit) OTHER THAN DAY TO DAY CLEANING & DECLUTTERING
3. CLEAN ONE ROOM (TOP TO BOTTOM) EVERY MONTH (hopefully 3 weekly by the end of the year)Monday, the start of yet another same old, same old week. Snowed most of the day, but only that very light snow that eventually makes the ground look like it has been dusted with icing sugar. However it is so very cold 🥶 🥶 Earnest attached himself to DH this morning 🥳 DH spoke to our insurance company - they advised him to make sure wall was safe. So he walked round the back into the car pack for the flats. Took photos & took the bricks off the car & piled them up a bit more neatly. Good news 🤔 about the car - it is off the road as it was in an accident - both sides stoved in 😱 & not running. Returned home freezing 🥶 & then contacted the ‘correct’ estate management company 😉 & fired off an apology email to the old company 🙂. DH braved the cold again, with a kettle full of boiling water & sorted out the birds’ water bowls + topped up squirrel feeder & then into garage to repair the handle on a saucepan. Earnest then transferred himself to me 🥳
First I set up my February Decluttering Bingo page - thanks again for the idea notmy1sttime

HI, thank you all for posting, it makes most interesting reading. What a shock with your garden wall Mrs SD.
Nothing other than general recycling done today.
We worked some more on the cat kennel. Sawing outside when the snow eased a bit. The design changes as we go along. Quite a bit of the wood on my kitchen table was also cut up and been burned in the wood burner. The mess in the kitchen is all my doing.3 weeks ago the kitchen was tidy! I might have a go at a new seat for the big brown chair tomorrow.
I spent hours dismantling the old picture frame, cleaning it ,waxing it and giving the oak veneer mount a white wash effect. Pressed flowers now in situ and the frame is on a shelf in the kitchen. It looks very understated and vintage.
I also made a cat shaped cat scratching post with an offcut and some rope.
We have had a lot of snow today and lots more forecast so I doubt we will be in the garden tomorrow.
3 squares on our noughts and crosses filled with jobs off the list. 2 for me and 1 for Mr V.
Take care everybody. Vx:10 -
