Beautiful work Barb. My knitting and crochet is much more basic. I am making baby hats and blankets for a maternity hospital in Africa. I will take some photos tomorrow of the mess that is my kitchen. We have a new window with cat flap fitted to install before any woodwork can commence. Everything has a knock on effect. We will keep the window unit we take out of the French window in my little shed which is full of course. When we have a dry day I will empty my shed of the garden furniture and gardening accoutrements so the glass can sit against the back wall ,out of the way.

Hi everyone,
Busy thread and lots of de-cluttering going on.
I have progress to report - 4 parcels to post off for my 30 in 30 challenge (I challenged myself to sell 30 items in 30 days, I failed on the 30 days so extended to end of Feb seen as it is a short month).
I have actually de-cluttered more than 4 items as they are grouped, I got rid of:
- box of books to webuy, total around £9, counting as one item
- parcel to CEX of old unused games, total £22
- iphone returned as delivered faulty (reconditioned), approx £50 to come my way
- returned a hoody my son is never going to wear that I got him for christmas - £16
I will count the financial side when I have received the funds, just in case they decide the items dont meet their criteria but either way it is stuff out of the house and turned into cash (they recycle if the items get rejected)
I have a few more really old phones to sell when I can find chargers to get the info from/off, plus a few higher value video games missing from their cases - I can hopefully find the game and sell, if not I will just throw out the cases (of course the game will turn up when the bin man has come for the discarded cases)
Other than that, I have made myself a "decluttering bingo" game in my bullet journal. I have made a grid with the 28 days to represent each day of February. I have written a declutter/tidy task in each square, the idea is each day I do one task and mark it off. Due to work and family commitments, I might end up doing more than one task a day to then have a day off, but some tasks are quick and take minutes, like "throw odd socks" "declutter receipts from handbag/purse", or "tidy shoe rack" others are longer like sort a wardrobe, pantry cupboard and I also have "5 minute declutter" or "10 minute tidy" where I can do any task against a timer.14 -

Up early, not a lot going on, frosty dog walk.
Yesterday's outs
1 old car mat and a suit jacket of plus ones (tis very small perhaps from his teen years 😂)
Not sure what today will out - have 2 pairs shoes in boot of car ready to go in a recycle point/charity. Not officially out yet so not counting..
Fleabay is slow although have a couple of bids so hopefully that's 2 more out.
So far to go:
Donated the rest of my veg box to a friend.
Have a magazine to pass on to neighbour.
Hope everyone is well and safe

A baby padded all in one suit left the house to someone who's about to have her baby yesterday, which brings me up to 10/49 for my Feb challenge. I've also listed one item on ebay, and will try to get a couple of others up today and tomorrow. Mostly though we will be decluttering by installing the water butts which will get them out of the way and into their permanent spaces!11

Been a bit lax but decided to use DS2’s bath time on Thursday night to declutter the bathroom shelves/baskets/bags and to go through my old make up. Didn’t eject as much from the make up stash as I’d have liked but the boys decided they wanted a bag full to play with! Far better than them using my good stuff! 😂
89-107 19x old/empty/redundant toiletries
108-110 3x old razors
111-112 2x applicator tampons (deconstructed by a particularly helpful small person)
Late DH’s shaving brush (he doesn’t need it and I’ll buy my own when my beard comes in!)
113-148 36x items of old or broken make up
Felt good to be productive with the time instead of just sitting waiting!
