More cash in the pot Barny1979 👏Great work D123456789 👏. At least if you are using P*yp*l, you are not using cash or cc 😉 Tactical error on your DH’s part telling his mother-in-law about his intention to declutter😉 😉 but at least your DM can remind him 🙂 🤞for the collection of the carrycot 🤞
BarbCh, congratulations on having your 1st vaccination 🙂 You are definitely a power house - the amount of work you get through even when feeling lethargic 👏 Thanks for the great cleaning tips 👏 Very impressive pictures - I still haven’t worked out how to add a photo 😞 I quite agree that kat360’s ex has behaved atrociously 😖 The more I read the more impressed I am at your artistic flair BarbCh 🤩 The bathroom looks beautiful especially with all the personal touches 🙂 What a lovely thing to look forward to - displaying your DM’s Crystal glassware 🙂Good work TC77 👏 The Art Deco table sounds beautiful.Every item out is a win Rootle 👏Good work moneyonmymindsam 👏. One of those weird conundrums - why is it that other people always want to fill the spaces you have created through hard work & sometimes difficult decisions 🤔
Oh dear vulpix - at least you are getting the hang of saying no 😉 even if your DM is feigning deafness 😉 Well done on the knitting & mending - decluttering yarn & keeping clothes in active service 👏
You have not put a downer on anything kat360 “wagging finger emoji” Hopefully the paw prints & the advance notice will help in the grieving process when your darling dog is gone but not forgotten. By the way, it sounds like you are well shot of ‘him’Spot on Brackenfield 🙂retiredinfrance, Great work decluttering anxiety as well as physical items 👏👏 Good news that your DH is getting his 1st vaccine 🙂. Fingers crossed that there is not another lockdown 🤞More cash for clutter Viking_mfw 👏Thanks to moneyonmymindsam & bit_by_bit for their kind thoughts 👏Frogletina, Thanks for answering BarbCh’s question about numbering 👏
Nicnak, 🤞the mice move out but if not there are humane mousetraps. A few years ago we had a mouse in the house (I bet you are singing now 😉) used humane mousetrap & released the mouse at the bottom of the garden 🙂
Wow mothernerd 🤩 - a prodigious amount of work in the garden 👏 you will sleep well tonight 🙂 Your plans for Friday are well earned - I can picture you in your pretty dress, sipping a cocktail & treating yourself to a relaxing day 🙂So sorry balabooberlies - I had forgotten that I had nabbed Sam so quickly 🙄 You are correct, it is a bit greedy of me to appropriate both Earnest & Sam 😞 so if Sam is amenable she is all yours 😉 I would be a bit upset if Earnest was kidnapped as he seems quite attached to my DH 😉😉 Thank you for the hug & the compliment - I am beaming 😁.MrsSD 🏅🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️Decluttering Target: 2021 289/2021Savings Pot:Be Kind. Good morning, hope everyone's ok.Continued bedroom cleaning and tidying yesterday, another wardrobe emptied and cleaned - I shifted a a lot of dust and fluff, and put more items into the cs bag..10
-
I was worn out just reading Mothernerd's post.
Latest decluttering below. I dropped grandchildren off at school this morning but don't think that counts- Toiletries rehomed or disposed of 13
- Coathangers to bin x 6
- Clothes to charity bag x 7
- Clothes to bin x 1
- Waterproof headphones and bag to charity bag
- Wheat bag to charity bag
- Wallet to charity bag
- unused scrapbook to GD4
- Box used for emptying MIL's flat returned to DS2
- Bag for street charity collection put out and just collected
I agree about using the things we have and not keeping them safe in boxes. What's the point in having them otherwise. I have things on display and in use - the occasional thing may get broken but they are not highly valuable antiques and I can't take them with me when I leave this world.

179-200. Other items donated to local food bank.8 -
I tidied up the hall stand seat drawer. Who knew what I would find! Several jute bags that will come in useful. A massive bag I will use for charity collection stuff.
interesting one - jump leads..... we have an electric car so these cannot be useful in anyway to us. DH says put them in the shed?? Why? What possible use can they be? I think a freecyc post might be due
Several helmets / gloves / cycling stuff now put in tidying of the drawer.9 -
Lots of batch cooking done today, Other than that still using up wool, the vast majority I was given by MIL. Some things I just can't say no to when offered. My MIL is the sort who bins everything. Our views on "stuff" are Polar opposites. I don't want lots of "stuff" but I don't like even other peoples "stuff" going to landfill.
Bank, I am still procrastinating. Promise movement on that imminent !
Cat house ,I am thinking about.
2 chairs, some oak drawers and several pallets in stages of being disassembled still in residence in the kitchen. If we get snow next week I will crack on. Oh I also have some hellebores pressing on top of the oak drawers. I bought an old oak frame from the charity shop some years ago and I have been waiting for an idea of how to use it. Voila, pressed flowers in a lovely frame.
All this of course to detract me from all but rudimentary house work.
77. wrapping paper given away on local free site

Today I have recycled 4 pomegranate cartons as annoyingly OOD, despite DH promising that he would drink it
Out an empty orange juice one and a tomato juice one, the latter I have used in making a large amount of a pasta sauce, some of which I will freeze. I also threw in some wrinkly baby toms that I had frozen. In addition I've decluttered the washing basket, why did I let it get so full ? Hopefully there will be hardly anything to clutter up the ironing pile, yay ! I hate ironing with a passion.
DH has retired to his shed today to do more decluttering, I really don't know where the rubbish comes from. Unfortunately it's nothing big just bits and bobs which will have to wait till Tues to go in the bin as it's full because I missed our last collection as we were snowed in. ( I didn't want to either of us to break a leg trying to get it around from the back and down the steps ! )Keep up the good work. Stay safe and well.nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11 -
172-174: hairdryer posted - and packaging, of course: down to 1 or maybe 2 hairdryers now
175: Usual email clear out and unsubscribe session.
176-178: recorded items watched and deleted or moved to external hard drive
179-180: kitchen sponge and toothbrush replaced
181-182: 2 items flung from fridge
182-183: extra bag of rubbish and mixed materials recycling generated
Still pottering on with what mojo I have... if I carry on with 150 items a month then that's1800 over the year and only 40 off 2021‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
