Morning xx
Here we go again 🙃 I'm up, dressed and breakfasted. I've made my bed, done a laundry shuffle and before I set off for the paid stuff I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling.
I've also been online and requested my repeat prescription which I will pick up next Wednesday after work - and thus not run out over Christmas. (Current supply will last until Christmas Day- glad I checked!!!)
Mr T is delivering this evening- I have everything crossed that all my order arrives, then I can stop spending and start saving. 2020 has been an expensive year considering I haven't been anywhere or done anything 🤔.
Wishing you all a peaceful day.
Much love.

Morning everyone.
Just sitting down with my porridge, OH working from home today so is already installed and going.
WM on
Bedroom done
Living room tidy
Banking and finances checked
I would like to meal plan for the next few day, I have 5 chicken breasts cooked in slow cooker that I must turn into some nice meals. Also have a couple of admin tasks to do. Would like to change DD1 bedding and give her room a quick clean. I have 3 tasks I need OH help with but he knows and has said he will help during the day, each one is going to take a couple of minutes.
Hugs to all those that need, sorry I can't be of help to any of you, but always here to listen.

Morning all,
Also about to enjoy my porridge. Beds are made, the place is fairly tidy and I have put dinner in the slow cooker 😊. Given that my cooking mojo has been non existent recently I'm pleased with this.
Today I need to finalise my SM order for Friday, work (obvs!), order some logs and keep smiling. Hugs to you all xx7 -
Admin done, even been to the post box to post it. Gosh the wind is cold today, our lunchtime walk is going to be bracing.
Time for another coffee and to get OH to help me fold the pop up pergola properly and put it away (one of his tasks)8 -
Morning......I dont know where I have lost a week and a bit......still buzzing around the house all hours of the day and night but I cant seem to say I have accomplished a lot, although the Skint Pit does look better than it has ever done in the 3 years I have been here.
Before school, I made the mistake of pulling DS wardrobe out looking for his glasses that have been missing for several days. I am 99% confident they are not in there and I have put the kettle on for a brew and motivation to go back up there with a black bin bag and put it all back tidily.
Mustn't grumble too much, DS dragged the rubbish and garden waste wheelie bins out all of his own accord this morning. Put a big smile on my face opening the curtains and finding they had be done!
DFF1 is in my bad books. I bought everyone new fabric wardrobes a month ago. DFF1 decided my wardrobe would make an excellent surveying point for her Kingdom and keep an eye on her faithful subjects. There is no other furniture close by with which she can launch herself onto the top of said wardrobe, so she has taken to scaling the fabric but once she is up there, shes up there for hours,, so I wasnt overly miffed...... until the twins DFF4 and DD5 decide they want an audience with her Majesty and which point she is hissing and claws drawn swiping at the twins so they are leaning backwards out of striking range but claws firmly caught in the fabric of the wardrobe. For comedic value.......hilarious if you see if on You've been Framed, not so hilarious when its your own house and brand new stuff.
They have a massive floor to ceiling cat castle downstairs and they used to have one upstairs aswell, but I got rid of it as it got damaged beyond repair by DFF2 who is too much of a chunk to try and jump on it. So I may have to invest in another one for my room again just for DFF1 so she has safe height to get away from DD4 and DFF5 without wrecking my wardrobe.
But I MUST get some flying done before I think about shopping for cats.
Right, time to put DS wardrobe contents back and have that brew........I will do my best to come back and report in.....but that hasnt been my strongest suit for a long while........
The cold never bothered me anyway8 -
Good morning
I am lightly tapping the keys whilst waiting for nail polish to dry. We are going to a SD wedding this afternoon and apparently I have to get out of scruff gear for the first time in probably 12 months. Tbh I am not looking forward to going, but we are doing a favour as the family isn’t able to travel here, even though we haven’t mixed socially with anyone for months now. True to form, I have already messed up 4 nails as I cba to wait for them to dry and want to get on with a few jobs.Wm done, dw running, DH under my feet. Just another day in paradise.
Hugs, sticks and spoons as needed. Have a lovely day all x7 -
Morning all. Seem to have been hit by the exhaustion bus this week which is impacting my ability to fly. Literally did nothing last night so will roll things over to the weekend when DH can help out. Think I can manage the hallway today as I go up and down the stairs. Other things I want to get done today:
- List bathroom cabinet on ebay
- Book slot for the dump
We're pretty much sorted for Christmas now and I already have the list of things I need to pick up at the weekend food wise, just hope there's enough room in the freezer

Fayolle have a wonderful time at the weddingSB5, I know about cats, your post made me smile, my cat for what ever reason is 'clawing' at the base draw in my wardrobe, he has loads of scratch posts of one sort or another all over the place, but no he wants that draw, the wardrobe moved with us, so it does not have new smells or anything...........it is a right pain at 5am to wake up and hear him, scratch, scratch, if I shut the door, to the bedroom, he just rips up the carpet near the doorFilled up bird feeder, 2 pheasants in the gardenKitchen is doneSmall food shop neededBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Having a total meltdown. Seems the lack of reply from uni regarding whether I assess tier 3 students was due to the Google server shenanigans 2 days ago taking out my professional email; anything I sent from it was ok but it hasn't been receiving. Got on server and read the replies which of course are now old in terms of actually discussing/acting. Tried to reinstate email properly on devices but no luck yet. Managed to contact manager who was lovely, but in a nutshell I have agreed to assess both students then get a summary of the results to the uni by Friday as they both want exam arrangements......they won't have a report as my turnaround time during term time is expected to be 2 weeks. They may not even be eligible for exam arrangements anyway. So I now have a headache, stomach cramps and am trying not to cry, in fact I'm too stressed to cry. Breathe; have had an Ibuprofen, a double lot of rescue remedy and I am now going to quietly write up the report I was finishing, then make coffee.
In the meantime I have at least done a bit of tidying in the kitchen, and ditto in the bedroom so flying to some extent has happened.
Sorry to melt.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -
Piggers they've arrived hon and you made me cry 😢
Bagging up all Flylady cards to send today/tomorrow.
Put up all my cards, and seriously if it wasn't for the flylady cards and my road's ones it would look so bare..one may we continue swapping the Flylady cards.
I've really got no oomph today so I've taken my proplus.
Put the washing on so at least we'll have clean washing if nothing else.. lol
I am going through the storage boxes of deccies today to see what I do want out. If nothing then they'll go back into the loft again.
Must make enquiries into storage lockers/containers for getting in the new year. That way we can get our stuff all packed up and in storage and the rest thrown away. That way we have a minimalist lock for the estate agents photos in March. Plus it'll show where we need to decorate ☺ Very MSE of me 😄
